If you’re into natural skincare I’m sure you’ve heard of the brand Farmacy. Farmacy skincare is a relatively new brand that combines naturally derived ingredients with science. Farmacy is available in Australia via Sephora, however not on Sephora Australia online.
One of their newer launches is their new Green Cleansing Balm*. Now this product got me really excited! I love a good cleansing balm and even better if it contains amazing ingredients. Farmacy describes their Green Cleansing Balm as, “a nourishing cleansing balm that erases makeup and gently lifts away impurities caused by pollution, it leaves the skin hydrated and silky smooth.”
As you all know I’m a self confessed skincare addict. I also think I’m a know it all, but by no means I do not know it all. However over the years while battling to obtain clear skin I’ve learnt a few things about skincare. Today I wanted to share my understanding of skincare ingredients so hopefully you can make a more informed decision when purchasing skincare.
Salicylic Acid is targeted at acne/blemish prone skin as it penetrates deep into the skin. I’m not much of a fan of Salicylic Acid as I feel it just doesn’t work quick enough for my skin. The only product that I absolutely swear by that has Salicylic Acid is the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion which is a spot treatment.
A couple of weeks ago I had my first Omnilux treatment with my bestie Fay at Luna Beauty and Apothecary. In the lead up to my wedding I was hesitant trying any new skincare or treatment but Fay was insistent I have an Omnilux treatment. I did some more research and everything I read just raved about the results.
So what is Omnilux?
Omnilux is an LED light therapy that targets specific cells which are responsible for the synthesis and repair of the skin’s supportive structures, leading to a softening of fine lines and improved skin tone.
