Travel Skincare: November 2017

Hello beauties,

As a skincare junkie one of my first priorities when travelling is deciding what skincare to take with me. I know, what a geek? Anyway, this year there wasn’t too much thinking involved as I’m pretty darn loyal to Ultraceuticals. So here’s a quick look into my travel skincare bag.

Wot Not Facial Wipes*

I’ve been gifted these in the past but also more than happy to repurchase with my own money so long as they’re on sale (they’re quite pricey). These are really gentle yet effective facial wipes.

Facial Oils for All Skin Needs

Hello lovelies,

If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know I’m a lover of Rosehip Oil. I’ve recently experimented with other facial oils and here’s my thoughts on what skin types they would benefit.

Disclaimer; I have oily/ combination skin and use facial oils on a regular basis. All skin types dry, combo, normal and oily can benefit from facial oils. Facial oils have multiple purposes, and it’s not always about hydration.

Rosehip Plus Rosehip Oil*

This is a great drugstore Rosehip Oil. Rosehip Oil is fab for all types of pigmentation and adds a hint of hydration. 2 to 3 drops of this is more than enough.

Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Fruit & Seed Oil Blend

This is a high end Rosehip Oil and is also blended with some other fruit and seeds for some added benefits. This oil helps with pigmentation, firmness, elasticity and dullness. I can honestly say I noticed a positive change in my skin after using this oil for a couple of days.

Hello lovelies,

I’ve recently been asked by a teenage family friend for some skincare advice. This is for you 😉

Hopefully this post will also provide some advice to anyone with blemish prone skin. Here’s a few products that will help with pesky spots, the products themselves are affordable and the routine is super simple.

Benzac Daily Facial Liquid Cleanser*

This is a gentle cleanser targeted at blemish prone skin and can be used morning and night. It’s a gel like texture but more liquidy than a gel. Personally I love that this removes all the excess oils without drying out my skin, however it’s not the best at removing the last remnants of makeup. It also contains Calendula and Aloe Vera so it’s quite soothing on the skin.
