Hello Beauties,
With winter literally upon us moisturising our bodies is a must. Body moisturisers are a personal preference, some like thick creams, while other people like thin lotions that absorb quickly. To help navigate the body moisturiser market, I’ve put together a few suggestions to suit everyone’s preferences.
Vaseline Total Moisture Dry Skin*
While this moisturiser is targeted at dry skin, its suitable for all skin types. It’s a really light weight lotion, with a faint scent (I think of Shea Butter). It’s easy and quick to blend into the skin. Also contains Glycerin which is a key ingredient to add moisturiser to the skin.
Manuka Biotic Nourishing Repair Body Lotion*
This contains manuka oil and some of my other faves like jojoba, rosehip and calendula, so you know it’s gonna be hydrating! What’s unique about this body lotion it anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory to help soothe and moisturiser skin. It has a distinct tea tree oil smell, however I think it must be the Manuka oil… It blends in really quickly into the skin, not heavy and the smell disappears quickly. This would be suitable for all skin types.
If you have sensitive skin then this is for you! Really light weight, no scent, easy to blend and fast drying. This lotions also contains 5% Glycerin. Click here for a full review of the QV range.
Palmolive Oil Infusion Body Moisturiser in Rose with Macadamia Oil*
This reminds me of the Redwin Body Lotion, light weight and easy to blend into the skin. What amazed me about this body moisturiser was how fragrant it was, in a good way. It also felt quite nourishing which probably has to do with the macadamia oil. If you have sensitive skin or don’t like heavily scented products than this is a miss.
