As promised, I gave you all a break from my product empties. But now we’re back with vengeance! I’ve saved up so many empties, that I’ve got so many back up empties for next month. My recommendation is, get a coffee or a wine and settle in for the long haul xx
Nivea Post Shave Balm
When Nikki Tutorials raved about this product as a primer I jumped on the bandwagon. Its good but not amazing for my skin type as for me my concerns are my pores and oily skin. Click here for a full review.
Klara Cosmetics Zero Pores Primer*
If you like silicone primers than this is awesome. I don’t mind silicone primers so this was fine for me but not an all time favourite. Click here for a full review of the Klara Cosmetics brand.

I realised it’s been forever since I did a makeup of the day on the blog. In terms of makeup, I’ve been keeping it quite simple as I’m pretty time poor in the morning. Here’s been my go to with a few products changed from time to time.
Becca Backlighting Priming Filter*
This is an amazing primer and my go to in the cooler weather. It provides a bit of a healthy glow and your makeup won’t slide off by the end of the day. Click here for a full review.
It Cosmetics CC+ Illumination and Smashbox BB Cream
I mix a bit of the It Cosmetics CC Cream and the Smashbox BB Cream to get the perfect shade. I should mention that the Smashbox BB Cream is so underrated. It’s a great BB Cream and I highly recommend. To apply the combo, I use a damp Beauty Blender and am left with a fresh glow and medium coverage.
Thin Lizzy Concealer Créme*
My go to concealer. Great for highlighting the under eye area and provides medium coverage but buildable.

Last week I bought to you a drugstore work makeup look, and today it’s all about highend makeup! It’s also a bit of a first impressions as I tried out a lot of new products in this makeup look.
1. IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination- Rich
For this look I didn’t apply a primer first, however I typically use Benefit Porefessional. To apply the CC Cream I use a damp beauty blender to push the product in. Full review coming at the end of the week.
2. Cover FX Cover Click-N30*
I didn’t expect much from this, but OMG I’m in love with it. I used this as a concealer under my eyes to highlight and cover dark circles. I found the concealer to be surprisingly creamy but still set nicely.
3. Benefit Brow Zing- Medium
4. NARS Bronzer- Casino
5. Hourglass Ambient Blush-Radiant Magenta
6. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish- Soft and Gentle
7. IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Essentials*
For the eyes, I started off by applying the shade Passion all over the lid. In the crease I applied Intrigue and brought it down to the lash line in a V motion. I also used the remaining product on my lower lash line and smoked it out quite a bit. For some added definition I applied the shade Allure to my top last line using an angled brush. Allure is an interesting shade, it’s a dark matte navy blue however looks almost black on the eyes.
To finish off the eyes I applied the IT Cosmetics Super Hero* mascara, which was surprisingly good. The tip with this mascara is to make sure to apply most of it at the roots of the lashes.
