There’s seems to be an influx of exciting new launches coming from all angles! Here’s a sneak peak of what’s new on the market or coming soon to a store near you xx
Glasshouse Limited Edition Halloween Candle*
This is my first Halloween candle from Glasshouse! As a big fan of Glasshouse candles, I was quite surprised to realise I’ve never purchase the Halloween candle. The best way to describe this candle is pumpkin pie, think spices and a beautiful fireplace.
Bioderma Sensibio Range*
Bioderma has added to their bestselling Sensibio range, which is targeted at sensitive and intolerant skin that is prone to redness. While I don’t have sensitive skin or suffer from redness, I do love gentle skincare products. Bioderma has added a Cleansing Milk and Toner to their range, in addition to a BB Cream. The Cleansing Milk is beautiful and lightweight which I prefer to use it for a morning cleanse. The toner looks like the Micellar Water and is very gentle on the skin. The BB Cream is too light for me to use, so apologies I can’t comment on it.
Garnier Micellar Water in Oil*
Garnier too has added to their bestselling Micellar Water range, the latest edition containing Argan Oil. As you would have seen on my Insta-Stories, I’ve quite enjoyed using this and dare I say, it could be my new favourite Micellar Water. I find it quite effective at removing my makeup, including eye makeup and I love that it leaves my skin feeling nourished. My tip with the Micellar Water is to make sure you shake it before you apply it to a cotton round, otherwise it is ineffective. Garnier have also released this extension in face wipe form, however I’m yet to trial it out.

Ever get that dreaded look, when your makeup disappears on the bridge of your nose because you’ve been wearing glasses or sunglasses? Well now I’ve got some tips to avoid that and a few other tips to make your eyes pop while wearing glasses.
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation- Matte + Poreless
While researching for this blog post I saw a thread where numerous glasses wearers said this was their go to foundation when wearing glasses. I put it to the test and it worked a treat, there was minimal makeup movement on the bridge of my nose (click here for a full review of the foundation). Another favourite foundation to wear while wearing my glasses is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Mineral Foundation (click here for a full review).
Coty Air Spun Loose Face Powder- Translucent
When wearing glasses regardless if you have oily or dry skin, its essential to at least set the nose area, and maybe cheek area if you have big lenses like me. The Coty Air Spun powder is great because its translucent and doesn’t change the look of your foundation.

I think it’s fair to say we’ve all tried Micellar Water. If you haven’t it’s definitely worth trying it at least once. Disclaimer, I personally don’t like using Micellar Water. I think it takes me a lot longer to remove my makeup and I use way more cotton rounds (6 to 8) than if I was to use a face wipes. Yes I know face wipes are naughty but I use them rarely when I’m lazy or on holidays.
What is Micellar Water?
Micellar Water looks like water but isn’t. Micellar Water contains special molecules that clutch onto dirt and makeup and removes them in an effective and gentle manner.
Garnier was one of the first drugstore brands to launch Micellar Water to compete with Bioderma, and honestly it seemed just as effective as the more expensive Bioderma. A couple years on and now Garnier has introduced 2 new Micellar Waters to their range, but is there any difference?
