Review: Fenty Beauty STUNNA Lip Paint

Hey beauties,

I’m late on the Fenty Beauty bandwagon, mainly because I was like I don’t need any more makeup. A couple of weeks later, a new foundation, eyeshadow palette and of course lipstick, I caved and picked up the STUNNA Lip Paint. But I blame the stunning @bymeneka for this purchase. Review: Tarte Clay Stick Foundation

Hello beauties,

Disclaimer, before I share this review I want to be very clear that I don’t agree with Tarte’s approach to their new Shape Tape Foundation. As a woman of colour, I can honestly say I’m so sick of brands not creating foundation shades that match my skin. I’m not anti Tarte but I’m disappointed. So with the review below, I wrote it a couple of weeks ago. It honest, its in the moment and if you don’t want to read it I won’t get offended.

Not gonna lie, but I was pretty excited when Tarte launched their Clay Stick Foundation. I think its because I loved the idea of their Full Coverage foundation but I’ve heard some mixed reviews and it seemed a bit hard to work with. So when I saw they launched their famous foundation but in a stick form I thought this looks easy!

About the Tarte Clay Stick Foundation:

  • Retails for $54 AUD from the Tarte website or $57 AUD from Sephora Australia
  • Available in 12 shades so a bit limiting
  • Tarte states it is, “a 12-hour wear, creamy matte clay foundation stick that delivers weightless, natural-looking coverage and nutrients”.

Review: Ultraceuticals Ultra B2 Hydrating Serum

Hello beauties,

You’ve all been following my Ultraceuticals love story for the past year and to be honest I didn’t think there was much more I could tell you about the brand. Well how wrong was I? With the lead up to my wedding I was pretty happy with my skin and didn’t want to try anything new. My beauty therapist Jess from Ultraceuticals in David Jones Elizabeth Street said I had to try the Ultra B2 Hydrating Serum*. I was like, yes yes ok, but honestly wasn’t in any rush to try it.

Ultraceuticals Hydrating Serum

For our honeymoon I was gifted one of their travel sets which had a deluxe sample of their Hydrating Serum. Perfect time to try it, so I put it to the test and fell in love! So here’s the low down x
