Product Empties: July

Hello beauties,

I have no idea how I keep going through these products! I really didn’t think I would have enough empties to do a post after June, but as you can see I was very wrong…

Divine Woman Skincare*

I loved these little samples of the Divine Woman range. All the products were beautiful and light weight. I also tried their moisturiser but seem to have thrown it out… Anyway, it was very impressive and not too heavy.

Clarisonic Normal Brush Head*

If you have a Clarisonic make sure to change the brush head every 3 months. With the Normal brush head its quite stiff and more abrasive then the sensitive one- obviously… The Normal brush was fine for my skin, but I prefer the Sensitive brush head.

Palmolive Oil Infusions Body Moisturiser*

I really like their oil infusion range. This was a great affordable body moisturiser but not the most hydrating.

Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner*

You know my love for this! So sad its all good! I need to buy another one. Click here for a full review.

Dove Soap Bar

I never talk about the Dove soap bars, but basically its Bae’s go to soap. I use it occasionally but not all the time. These have to be the most hydrating soaps on the market.

Micellar Waters in Review

Hello beauties,

Disclaimer, I don’t like Micellar Waters. Yes they’re effective, but I find it takes too many cotton rounds to remove all my makeup. But for you I’ve tried them all and here’s the run down of the ones I like and don’t like. I’ve sorted them by most affordable to most expensive.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water* $13.99 for 400ml

The first affordable micellar water to compete with the OG, Bioderma. Yes its effective, and yes its cheap. Click here for a full review of all the Micellar Waters in the Garnier range.

Brand Focus: Avéne

Hello beauties,

Avéne is a cult French Pharmacy skincare brand that has been available in Australia for years, yet is new to me. I’ve recently tried a few things from the range and wanted to share my thoughts on some of their best sellers and new release products.

Avéne Cleanance Micellar Water*

This is Avéne’s new release Micellar Water targeted at oily/ acne prone skin. I haven’t tried the original so I can’t compare. But using this Micellar Water I found it effective at removing makeup including eye makeup. It didn’t remove all my eye makeup, but did a good job and didn’t sting.

Avéne Cleansing Foam*

Like most cleansing foams they are targeted at oily skin types. However this is the most gentle and soft feeling cleansing foam I’ve used and personally I think would be suitable for all skin types. This is quite a dense/ thick cleansing foam with no scent. This is great as a morning and evening cleanser, that removes excess oil and remnants of makeup without drying out the skin.
