Review: Frank Body Shimmer Scrub

Hello beauties,

We all know the hype around the new Frank Body Shimmer Scrub. 50,000 people were on the waitlist which is pretty cray for a body scrub. While I wasn’t on the waitlist I picked up two a couple of days after it was released.

I picked it up because I’m a beauty blogger and need to try everything and who doesn’t want a bit of shimmer?

Review: Jurlique Face Oils

Hello lovelies,

Jurlique recently launched three face oils to suit various skin types. All their face oils retail for $69 AUD for 50ml, which is a lot of product! Personally I don’t know how I’m going to get through it all.

Jurlique Purely Age- Defying Firming Face Oil

This face oil is targeted at anti aging. As this is not a concern for me (yet) I haven’t tried this face oil and can’t comment on its effectiveness.

Go To Winter Bases

Hello beauties,

With the weather cooling down, my oily skin can finally cope with some glowy foundations. Here’s a run down of my favourite bases for the cooler weather, ideally for oily skin gals but suitable for all skin types.

Maybelline Super Stay Primer* + Nude by Nature Sheer BB Cream* + Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation

IMG_1185This trio is my go to for light coverage, fresh looking makeup that won’t slip off my face. The primer is fantastic for prolonging the wear of any foundation and I love how thin it is. The Nude by Nature BB Cream is really sheer, so I set it with the Tarte powder to provide more coverage and to make sure my base lasts all day. Even though I set my base with this powder, my natural oils come through which provides me with a natural glowy look throughout the day.
