As you all know I’m pretty new to the whole setting spray world. I’ve been experimenting for over a year and have finally found a few that actually work! Click here to check out my recap of my growing makeup setting spray collection.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
One of the originals when it comes to setting sprays. After using this throughout summer last year I finally understood the hype. This setting spray is amazing and makeup literally doesn’t budge. I used this for my bestie’s wedding and hen’s night which were both in summer and my makeup looked amazing at the end of the night. What’s also really good about this spray is it doesn’t make you look matte. I’ve just run out of this but am planning on repurchasing after I finish up the next two mentioned below.

Thank you for all your ongoing support and for sticking with me throughout all the holiday spam. After every holiday I love to share my recommendations with you because I know when I travel I love recommendations.
But before we get onto the recommendations, I want to say how amazing their public transport is. We walked or caught trains everywhere. It was so easy to use and I highly encourage you to use their trains if you want to check out the sights below.
Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay is a must! Its this massive plot of greenery smack bang in the middle of the CBD. Well if I’m honest its not exactly in the middle but it’s pretty central. Its pretty cool how they have all these difference plants, trees and flowers all under the same roof so make sure to have a look at the gardens. Also the air conditioning is a nice change from the humid weather.
If you get a bit peckish there are some restaurants inside, but I think they were a bit over priced. Marina Bay Sands is close by so just go there after, which takes me onto my next recommendation.

As most of you know, I decided to do my own makeup for the wedding. I’m such a control freak and know what I like so I wanted to do my makeup myself. No offence to makeup artists, but whenever I’ve had my makeup done I feel its too heavy and I don’t look like myself. On my wedding day, the key was to look like myself. So get a cup of tea, coffee or wine, its gonna be a long post!
Cover FX Blurring Primer*
Kat Von D Lock It Foundation* and Nude by Nature Flawless Foundation*
Unexpected combo but I really liked it. Both are medium to full coverage and last really well when used together. I mixed about a pump of each which was more than enough.
Thin Lizzy Crème Concealer- Pacific Sun*
Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit- Light*
Of course I wanted some extra chisel, so I used the dark shades to contour under my cheek bones and lightly on my forehead and jaw line.
