Klara Cosmetics is a relatively new beauty brand but definitely growing in recognition for its awesome products! I had the lovely pleasure of meeting Klara herself at the Priceline event, where she showed me so many new and exciting Klara products! Klara Cosmetics is one of those interesting hybrid beauty brands that have both skincare and makeup. Currently only the skincare is sold at Priceline but the makeup is available from Klara Cosmetics online and Sephora.
Klara Cosmetics Reset Dragon’s Blood Face Mask*
This is a sheet mask containing one of my favourite ingredients, Dragon’s Blood! When I first opened the packet I was impressed by how much moisturise there was. Applying the mask was quite difficult due to all the moisture but manageable. The mask itself was a weird size… I either have a really big mouth and eyes or the mask was the wrong size. Refer to Instagram Stories for a terrible photo @rachelbeautystyle. Moving on from that, the mask sat nicely on my face with minimal movement. I left it on for about 20 minutes and still had left over moisture that I massaged into my skin. The sheet mask left my skin feeling really hydrated and looked plump. I personally would only use this at night as there so much moisture.
Klara Cosmetics Reset Glow*
This is an interesting product. It can be used as a moisturiser or primer. I use it as a moisturiser as I like something a bit more heavy duty to keep the oils at bay. With the Reset Glow it has a slight iridescent glow, but definitely no shimmer and blends seamlessly so its invisible. This claims to nourish the skin with the equivalent of 8 glasses of water. On my oily skin it provides the perfect amount of hydration without making me oily. However if you have dry skin you might need something a little more heavy duty.

This post is for all the bloggers out there! I’ve been blogging @rachelbeautystyle for about a year and a half and prior to that was blogging with a friend for about a year. Today’s post is all about what I’ve learnt along the way and how I’ve grown my following. I’m by no means an expert and am definitely still learning myself.
Don’t blog with a friend
Blogging with my friend was a great starting point as we both learnt the blogging world together. We didn’t fight or have any arguments but it got to a point where I wanted to do my own thing. When you blog with a friend you still need to ask permission and make sure you don’t overlap. I think it may be different with a sibling, but personally blogging with a friend didn’t work for me long term.
Plan your blog posts
I always plan my blog posts about a month in advance. I colour coordinate by theme; skincare, makeup, hair care and other so I know not to post too many articles around a particular theme. I also take note of reviews, routines and Makeup of the Days to ensure variety.

I feel like July has been the month of loads of new products, with August also seeing some exciting launches in the beauty world (watch this space). This month there’s been a mixture of old and new faves. What have you been loving this month?
Manicare Facial Cleansing Brush*
To me this is the manual version of a Clarisonic or cleansing device. I love that this is super soft and a non-fuss cleansing tool that makes cleansing that little bit easier and enjoyable. Bae has also been loving this!
MAC Lipstick- Whirl
I’ve been a big fan of MAC Whirl lip liner for years so of course I had to get the lipstick. First off, please note that the lipstick and lip liner are not an identical match which is really disappointing MAC. However the lipstick is still a beautiful matte 90s brown that looks quite nude on my lips.
