Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Treatment*

I posted about this mask in last month’s empties. I tried it again this month and mixed two sachets together and had better results. But honestly it still wasn’t a fave. Click here for a full review.

Ultraceuticals Ultra Moisture Cream*

Loved this for some added moisture in winter. I used this every night as my evening moisturiser. If you have dry skin then you could use this cream all year round.

June Jacobs Rapid Repair Heeling Cream*

This is a natural moisturiser targeted at rehydrating the skin. While I didn’t expect much from this I actually fell in love with it. I’ve been using this all over my body and literally my body just soaked up all the moisture. My skin felt so hydrated after using this. Also, the smell is absolutely divine! I don’t think I would use this on my face, but as a body moisturiser I absolutely loved it.

Review: Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm with Echinacea GreenEnvy

Hello beauties,

If you’re into natural skincare I’m sure you’ve heard of the brand Farmacy. Farmacy skincare is a relatively new brand that combines naturally derived ingredients with science. Farmacy is available in Australia via Sephora, however not on Sephora Australia online.

Farmacy describes their Green Cleansing Balm as, “a nourishing cleansing balm that erases makeup and gently lifts away impurities caused by pollution, it leaves the skin hydrated and silky smooth.”

However over the years while battling to obtain clear skin I’ve learnt a few things about skincare. Today I wanted to share my understanding of skincare ingredients so hopefully you can make a more informed decision when purchasing skincare.

Salicylic Acid

Salicylic Acid is targeted at acne/blemish prone skin as it penetrates deep into the skin. I’m not much of a fan of Salicylic Acid as I feel it just doesn’t work quick enough for my skin. The only product that I absolutely swear by that has Salicylic Acid is the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion which is a spot treatment.
