2020 Beauty Favourites

Hi All,

I’m finally back! Unintentionally took a really long break between blog posts. I think it was the mix of COVID and I wasn’t really trying new products. Anyway throughout the year of 2020 I used it as an opportunity to use what I had which was a great way to rediscover old favourites but of course I still found a few new faves along the way.

Ere Perez Oat Foundation*

Absolutely fell in love with this “clean” foundation! Light to medium coverage and beautiful and glowy. This product has inspired me to do another blog post, its just that good that I have to tell you more about it, so watch this space….

Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation*

A rediscovery- that I love now more than when I first tried it, maybe my skin has changed. A great medium to full coverage foundation that lasts all day. As you might just be able to tell I had a massive blemish on my chin but I think the foundation did a great job in concealing it. Also great shade selection but I recommend trying it in store. Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation

This has been a regular in my favourites. I’ve recently just finished my second bottle and am due to repurchase again since its that good! Its a beautiful medium to full coverage foundation that still looks natural. Highly recommend this for all skin types. Click here for my full review.

Ultraceuticals

Always a staple in my skincare routine. When my skin is playing up or if I need to guarantee my skin to look good I will always default back to my trusted Ultraceuticals. I’ve reviewed their products numerous times over the years so make sure to hit the search bar and check them out.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree and Manuka Honey Mask

There was a period when my skin was playing up a bit so I tried this face mask and the results were instant. It drew out the impurities not in a gross way but in a healing really quick way. You won’t see me using this all the time as I’m fortunate that I don’t need to, but don’t get me wrong its a really great face mask if you have acne or blemish prone skin.

Full disclaimer I have done a sponsored post with Thursday Plantation in the past, this is not sponsored, just absolutely love this face mask.

The Jojoba Company – Jojoba Oil

This has been a staple in my skincare routine since I was pregnant. Its great to use on the face and body and for all skin types. These days you would typically find a bottle in Harry’s bathroom and bedroom. We add a few drops to Harry’s bath to minimise his skin drying out and then post bath he gets a full body massage – what a lucky bugger.

Palmolive Luminous Oils Shower Gel

Now I know this can seem like a random favourite but I genuinely love this shower gel. This is the second or third bottle I’ve repurchased because I absolutely love it. Its lightly scented, gentle and nourishing on the skin and really affordable.

So there you have it, my random mix of products that I’ve been loving. Personally I find it great that so many of my faves are staples that I’ve been using over the years.
