When the Bobbi Brown Camo range landed on my door stop, I was thinking why camo? How ugly? Then I opened up the camo printed palettes and I quickly changed my tune. The palettes are absolutely stunning, thinking bronze, gold with a mix of olive green!
Here’s some of my picks from the limited edition camo luxe collection.
Camo Luxe Eye & Cheek Palette* $125 AUD | $75 USD
This palette features six matte, metallic and sparkle eye shadows , plus a gold tone light-reflective highlighting powder. The highlighting shade is absolutely stunning! I honestly thought it was going to be a dud but was so impressed! It has decent pigmentation without being in your face. It has a wet look finish which is unlike any highlighter I own.
The eyeshadow shades are suprisingly neutral featuring cool greys and a few darker neutral shades. I found the eyeshadows to be extremely pigmented but easy to blend. I’ve used the matte shades in the crease and the glittery green shade on my lower lash line. I think the glittery shade had some fall out, but I’m not 100% sure if it was the shade from this palette or the Multichrome shadow.
Luxe Eyeshadow Multichrome* $55 | $38 USD
Bobbi Brown has also launched 2 limited edition Luxe Eyeshadows, Incandescent which is more gold tone and Jungle which is more grey and green tone.
An all-new, multidimensional metallic eye shadow formula designed to give eyes instant incandescence. These eyeshadows can be applied dry for instant impact or applied with a damp brush for a liquid metal look.
On the lid I’m wearing Jungle, which was so pigmented! The intensity doesn’t quite translate in the photo, but I promise its extremely pigmented. In the inner tear duct I applied Incandescent which applied more pink on my skin tone. I applied a bit of the gold highlighter from the eye and cheek palette to tone down the pink.
Nailpolish* $25 AUD | $16 USD
With this Camo collection they’ve released two limited edition nail polishes, Camo which is grey tone and Khaki which is obviously khaki. Both shades have a slight shimmer, without looking glittery. I really loved the look of both shades, very wearable however the shimmer isn’t actually noticeable on the nail.
As you can see I’ve been really impressed with this limited edition collection. I honestly didn’t expect to like this, but have absolutely loved using all the products from the collection. If you’re interested in trying out the collection, get to a Bobbi Brown counter quickly before it sells out.
