Product Empties: November

Hello beauties,

Don’t even ask me how I get through all these empties, because I honestly don’t know. But at the same time its so rewarding to actually finish off a product.

Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Treatment*

I posted about this mask in last month’s empties. I tried it again this month and mixed two sachets together and had better results. But honestly it still wasn’t a fave. Click here for a full review.

Ultraceuticals Ultra Moisture Cream*

Loved this for some added moisture in winter. I used this every night as my evening moisturiser. If you have dry skin then you could use this cream all year round.

June Jacobs Rapid Repair Heeling Cream*

This is a natural moisturiser targeted at rehydrating the skin. While I didn’t expect much from this I actually fell in love with it. I’ve been using this all over my body and literally my body just soaked up all the moisture. My skin felt so hydrated after using this. Also, the smell is absolutely divine! I don’t think I would use this on my face, but as a body moisturiser I absolutely loved it.

Lush Big Blue Bath Bomb

As someone that doesn’t take too many baths, I get a bit overwhelmed by all the bath bombs at Lush. I tried this one since everyone raved about it. When I finally tried it I was pleasantly surprised. It fizzed nicely, and had little pieces of seaweed which I enjoyed.

White Glo Bright Nights Dissolving Whitening Films*

I haven’t really talked about this before on the blog, but I can honestly say this is my favourite White Glo product. I’ve tried pretty much everything from the brand but this is the best! I love that its a dissolvable strip that I can apply at night and wake up with visibly whiter teeth. I used these heaps in the lead up to the wedding!

Dove Original Deodorant*

Not my favourite deodorant as I find the scent too overpowering. Mum loves it but I just find the scent is too intense.

Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser*

Ben and I really didn’t like this cleanser. The smell was so intense- kinda herbally but also chemically as well. We were both concerned that if we got this in our eye it would burn- luckily we didn’t get it in our eyes. In terms of its effectiveness I found it quite drying on my oily combo skin. Wouldn’t repurchase this.

Dove Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash

Ben and I have tried a few body washes from Dove and love them all. Ben is an avid Dove soap user and as I love Body Wash this is the perfect body product for both of us. We always repurchase the Dove Body Washes.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm*

You all know my love for this cleansing balm. I’m so sad its finished. I find its super effective at removing makeup. Click here for a full review.

ALDI Cotton Rounds

My go to for cotton rounds. Thick but also reasonably priced.

Essano Micellar Face Wipes*

I think I got a bad batch because mine were a bit dry. For the face it was effective but because it was a tad dry it really tugged at my eyes. Click here for a review.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge*

Love these beauty sponges. Just as good as the Beauty Blenders. Make sure to replace them every three months.

LÓreal Heat Protector Spray

This lasted so long- maybe three years. Which means I don’t use enough, don’t wash my hair enough or there’s heaps of product… Anyway I think its an effective heat protector and doesn’t leave my hair oily or feeling heavy.

P’ure Papaya Care Papaya Ointment*

You’ve heard me rave about this. I love that is moisturising, great for the lips and any dry patches.

Jurlique Purely White Eye Cream*

I really enjoyed this eye cream. I used it morning and night and found that it left my under eyes feeling hydrating, it wasn’t thick and it also made my under eyes looks brighter.

Clarisonic Brush Head*

Make sure to change your brush heads every 3 months or when they look a bit gross.

Elizabeth Arden Statement Brow Defining Gel*

I have absolutely loved using this brow gel. It adds a bit of colour and texture and holds the hairs in place without making them crunchy. So sad this has finished 😦

Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara*

Personally I didn’t get the hype around this mascara. I found it was a really dry texture which made it a nightmare to apply. It also didn’t hold a curl and was a bit clumpy- but that could be from me needing to layer it. Overall not impressed with this mascara.
