5 Underrated Makeup Products That Deserve More Hype

Hello beauties,

Over a year ago I brought to you my first post about 5 underrated makeup products that you need to know about. Here’s the link in case you want to check it out, I still love all the products mentioned. Fast forward to now, and well there’s a lot of new products on the market. It can get so overwhelming to know what to buy, so here’s 5 relatively new products that don’t get spoken about enough.

Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette*

You know my obsession for this palette! This palette needs way more hype! The powders are so extremely pigmented that you only need a little bit. At first I got a bit carried away, but luckily these are super easy to blend. I’ve been loving using this palette for a matte eyeshadow look and also to sculpt my face.

Cover FX Mattifying Spray*

This setting spray really does leave your makeup looking flawless all day and night. However the real test will be in summer.

Thin Lizzy Crème Concealer*

I haven’t really talked about this concealer on my blog, yet I use it practically every day and it gets featured regularly on my Instagram. Basically its my current go to concealer and personally I find it better than some of the high end one- I’m looking at you MAC! I love that this concealer is creamy, yet sets, provides medium yet buildable coverage and its extremely brightening under the eyes.

Revlon X Chloe Morello Contour Kit*

The Revlon X Chloe Morello contour kit was my first foray into contouring and now I’m obsessed! I typically use this palette every day to contour and set my under eye makeup. I don’t use the highlight much as its more pink based. Don’t get my wrong, it’s a great highlighter, I just prefer more gold tone highlighters. The texture of the contour shades are really blendable. I wouldn’t say they are overly pigmented but that’s ok as its buildable without being cakey.

Social Eyes False Lashes

Social Eyes Lashes have made applying false lashes so easy! I’m not sure if it’s the glue or the lashes themselves but they are so easy to apply and last all day. My personal faves are Glamorous Shorty as featured below. I should also mention that they’re vegan.

So there you have it, some of my favourite makeup products that don’t get the recognition they deserve. If you haven’t tried them please do, they’re honestly so good!
