Makeup of the Day: 15 Minute Makeup

Hello beauties,

So I wasn’t planning on sharing this makeup look. I literally just whipped it up in 15 minutes, took a few photos and that was going to be the end of it. But after looking at the photos and receiving a lovely compliment from my Fiancé I thought I would share how I created this look. It literally took 15 minutes, maybe less. And don’t even ask how I did it while applying false lashes…

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Radiance Drops*

Because I wasn’t planning on going out after I didn’t apply a primer beforehand. I did mix a few drops of the illuminating oil with my foundation and use a Buffing Brush to apply.

LÓreal Visible Lift and Blur Foundation

This foundation is great at blurring and provides decent coverage. I haven’t talked about this foundation as its not available in Australia. But if you do see this foundation I highly recommend it for oily gals.

Thin Lizzy Crème Concealer- Pacific Sun*

You know my love for this concealer. I’m almost out, so I need to repurchase stat!

Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette*

My latest obsession is this new palette from Tarte. I used the contour shades to lightly sculpt and bronze my face. For the lids I was going for a bit of a warm crease, not too warm as I knew I was going to do a red lip. I used the warmest shade in my crease and added a bit of the dark cool tone brown in the outer corner. And for the lid, I just added the light shades. Pretty much I just mixed and blended… For the brows I used the dark cool tone shade which is a great colour match for me.

Huda Beauty 3D Illuminating Palette*

For blush I used the pink shade and for highlighter I mixed a few of the shades. I didn’t go too crazy with the highlight but in real life it was definitely more noticeable. Overall I’m really impressed with the quality of this palette. With the highlighters you can wear them subtle or build them up to make your highlight blinding.

Lancome Hypnose Mascara*

Like, don’t love this mascara. However the brush is quite good.

Social Eyes Lashes- Envy

I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone and have been wearing these more dramatic lashes. Social Eyes Lashes are the easiest lashes to apply, hence why I could do my whole makeup in 15 minutes. If you’re a newbie to false lashes like me, I highly recommend trying out the Social Eyes Lashes.

MAC Lipstick and Lip Liner- Ruby Woo

And to complete the look, Ruby Woo! You can wear any lipstick with this look but you know my love for Ruby Woo. I find you =do need the lip liner to perfect the lipstick look as it applies a lot easier when you use the two together.

And there you have it, 15 minutes later. I hope you liked this really easy makeup look. As you can see I’m obsessed with the Tarte palette. I’ve already featured it in my monthly faves because its really that good and it reignited my love for makeup again x
