Hello fellow beauty addicts,
Yesterday I had the lovely pleasure of attending Priceline’s Beauty Prescription Live where media and influencers are invited to learn more about the exciting new launches hitting stores. Here’s some of my favourites from the day. Let me know below if there’s anything you want a review of x
Real Techniques Sponges*
Now you all know my love for Real Techniques! They’re slaying it when it comes to product innovations. The latest addition to the line are some new sponges. The large one is targeted for the body and contouring, the flat ones are for blotting, the little purple ones are for concealing then the one that’s most intriguing is a sponge for cleansing your face… Now the cleansing sponge has me most intrigued, so I’ll let you know how I go with it. Personally I think its just gimmicky…
NYX are on fire when it comes to new launches. I’m so excited to try their new eyeshadow palette- Lid Lingere, their new setting powder called #nofilter sanfilter and of course their new foundation, Total Control Foundation. They also introduced a new matching foundation brush that looks like a buffing brush but has a small hole in the middle to hold the foundation. It reminds me of the Bare Minerals brush… Review of the new foundation coming soon.
Australis Mixologist Lip Palette*
Personally I wasn’t too excited about this but I think its meant to be a dupe for Anastasia’s lip palette.
Nude by Nature Flawless Collection Foundation*
I was so excited to try this foundation! Think mineral foundation, plus full coverage in gorgeous packaging! I hear winner! This foundation will retail for $39.95 which seems pricey for the drugstore, but in terms of Australian drugstore prices its pretty much on par.
Hair Recipe Cleanse Shampoo*
Hair Recipe is a UK hair brand about to hit Priceline. I’m really excited to try this Cleanse Shampoo which is like a clarifying shampoo. Great to use once a week instead of your normal shampoo to detoxify the hair. Especially good if you use dry shampoo and styling products.
Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Tri-Blo*
New from Fudge and the first of its kind. Its a toning blow dry spray. Great if you have blonde hair or lightened ends like myself.
Glow Lab is a new brand hitting stores soon, or maybe available in some stores now. From my understanding the brand is a hybrid of natural and cosmeceutical skincare, but I can’t seem to find any information online, so I’ll get back to you… Also the packaging is so sleek!
The Jojoba Company
I think most beauty addicts have heard of the benefits of Jojoba Oil and if you know about Jojoba Oil you would know about The Jojoba Company. Jojoba Oil is a natural oil that is a skincare all rounder. Its amazing for hydration, acne prone skin and even for anti aging. Better yet, it’s now easily accessible from Priceline!
Skin Doctors potent vit.a *
Skin Doctors is amazing skincare brand. Think effective yet affordable. What got me really excited about the new potent vit.a is they are little capsules of Vitamin A. The packaging is very similar to those Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Capsules. Basically you use one capsule a night to get your daily dosage of Vitamin A. Because they are so small and travel friendly I’ll be taking a few of these on holidays with me! A box of 50 capsules retails for $59.99 which is very affordable for Vitamin A.
St Tropez Bronzing Face Sheet Mask
Now while I don’t tan, I think this latest innovation from St Tropez is pretty darn cool. From my understanding, tanning your face can be quite difficult so St Tropez introduced their new Bronzing Face Sheet Mask. Basically you get the benefits of a Sheet Mask while also getting tanned, winning!
Bondi Sands Protect & Tan*
So I think its fair to say we all know Bondi Sands for its fake tanning range. Well they’ve expanded their range to include sun protection as well! This new Protect & Tan is a dry oil that provides sun protection but also has tanning properties.
So there you have it! So many exciting launches. Let me know if there’s anything you would like a detailed review of x
