July has been the month of lots of new products, so watch this space for some highly anticipated reviews, first impressions and dupes. While there’s been quite a few new products that I’ve enjoyed using, I don’t want to call them favourites just yet… Let’s see if they make it to my August faves and that way you’ll know I really loved using them!
I did a review of the new Jurlique face oils, here’s the link in case you want to check it out. I’ve been loving the Antioxidant Face Oil now that it’s getting colder in Sydney. I apply it every alternate night when my skin is feeling a bit dry and I apply a couple of drops in the morning before I head to the gym. I feel this oil has helped rebalance my skin by providing the necessary hydration it requires.
Now I’m a bit of a snob and haven’t used a Revlon nail polish in years, even though I have a few shades that I really love from the brand. Enter Divine, a new shade to me that called my name, “Rachel, apply me…”. Anyway, I’ve been wearing this regularly on my nails for the past two months. And that’s saying something! I tend to mix up my nail polish but I love this shade so much that I keep reapplying it! It’s a bit browny, a bit redy and has some shimmer. It also lasts really well on the nails. I can go about a week with no chips- which is saying more about myself (ie. I don’t clean the house, Bae does that, and cook…). Anyway, if you’re after a new winter nail polish you have to check this out!
Now a detailed review will be coming shortly and I know I said I would try not to include anything that was completely new to me, but this is the exception. To be honest I haven’t been wearing much eyeshadow in recent months, but for some reason when I received this I just kept going back to it to create simple matte eye looks. This is a great versatile palette- definitely worth the money.
Below I’ve use the palette on my lids and to lightly contour.
