I realised it’s been forever since I did a makeup of the day on the blog. In terms of makeup, I’ve been keeping it quite simple as I’m pretty time poor in the morning. Here’s been my go to with a few products changed from time to time.
This is an amazing primer and my go to in the cooler weather. It provides a bit of a healthy glow and your makeup won’t slide off by the end of the day. Click here for a full review.
I mix a bit of the It Cosmetics CC Cream and the Smashbox BB Cream to get the perfect shade. I should mention that the Smashbox BB Cream is so underrated. It’s a great BB Cream and I highly recommend. To apply the combo, I use a damp Beauty Blender and am left with a fresh glow and medium coverage.
My go to concealer. Great for highlighting the under eye area and provides medium coverage but buildable.
Love this powder to set me foundation as its very finely milled and doesn’t leave you looking cakey.
For the undereye area I apply some of the banana shade. Using the Revlon Contour Brush I apply the bronzer and contour shade in a 3 motion; hair line, under my cheeks and jaw line. Click here for a full review.
My go to blush. Subtle shimmer, gorgeous berry colour and really long lasting.
I tend to stick with gold toned highlighters as they complement my skin better and this one works perfectly with the Berry Amore blush. This highlighter can be subtle or built up if you like an intense highlight.
Sometimes I skip eyes all together and move straight to mascara. But if I have an extra minute I apply a bit of Teddy to my top lash line and lower water line for some added definition.
I’ve really loved using this mascara. The trick with this is to get right into the roots and wiggle it. This is a great mascara if you want volume and need to hold your curl.
I always change up my lipstick but with winter fast approaching I thought I’d go berry tone.
Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy makeup routine. In total it probably takes me 15 to 20 minutes to do this whole look. Not bad if I say so myself!
