Hello beauties,
With winter fast approaching, I wanted to share with you one of my favourite body products to keep my skin hydrated. Now some of you may know, I’m pretty lazy when it comes to moisturising my body. I only do it when I have to. And that’s where Lush Ro’s Argan* comes in.
The Lush Ro’s Argan is an in-shower moisturiser that you apply like a moisturiser, leave on for a bit then rinse off. You’re then left with hydrated skin and smelling beautiful!
Ro’s Argan contains my favourite skincare ingredients; argan oil, almond oil, cocoa and shea butter. These ingredients are key to leaving your skin feeling hydrated all winter long. I should clarify, it’s not the most hydrating body cream but it provides you with enough hydration so you’re not left looking scaly. It’s a great lazy gal product and when I need more hydration after my shower, I layer on the moisturiser.
In terms of its smell, I think it’s absolutely divine! It’s very fragrant and I really struggle to describe it. But I would say it smells really hydrating. I know, what does that even mean? Upon closer inspection, its actually Rose. Bae describes the scent as grandma crossed with the smell of a baby. Haha! He actually quite likes the scent but that’s how he would describe it.
Now it’s not a cheap product, but definitely worth the money. It retails for $32.95 but it’s a large tub that will keep you hydrated all winter.
You may also be familiar with Nivea’s In Shower Moisturiser. I tried it as I thought it would be a great dupe for this, but I was greatly disappointed. The quality and texture was terrible and it didn’t smell nice. Its honestly worth spending the extra money on the Ro’s Argan from Lush.
Have you tried it? What’s your thoughts?

I loveeee Ro’s Argan! I originally used to stock up on Christingle at Christmas time because it gave your skin a great tingle when you used it in summer. My skin is already starting to get dry though, I need to stock up on some more Ro’s!

I love body conditioners! There’s a mint version that LUSH release in their Christmas collection called ‘Christingle’ which is my absolute fave! But all year round this is great too, it has such a nice floral!

Next time, when I’ll be in Lush, Imma ask for a sample and if I like it I will save money for full size packaging. It also sounds like Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer? I haven’t but I’ve read great things about it.

I haven’t tried the Jergens one, but I’ll add it to my list.

I’m guilty of not using body moisturisers consistently either but I like the sound of using this in the shower. I’d be more likely to use this method than a traditional body moisturiser.

I feel that Nivea products almost always have that same distinct smell. I don’t know if that’s the case with the in-shower conditioner though, but i’m currently using a face wash by them and it smells very similar to the Nivea Soft cream.
This LUSH product looks ideal to me cos I’m lazy but a girl still has to moisturise…lol this might be the answer. They recently moved my local LUSH to a bigger store…HUGE store, so I can’t wait to go check it out. 😀
