You all know I’ve been loving organic beauty products, but as a beauty blogger I find it hard to commit to just organic beauty. That’s where Anna from Edible Beauty comes in. Anna is a qualified naturopath and created the beautiful and organic skincare brand, Edible Beauty. Anna was a realist when we chatted, she didn’t expect me to use the range or organic beauty products exclusively. She understands the challenges that everyone faces when making the transition to organic beauty and she recommends taking small steps and slowly transitioning organic products into your regime. Here’s a few products I’d tried from the brand, what I’ve loved, liked and any misses.
Normally you see rose toning mists, so it was quite nice to see a different mist, in the form of this citrus toner mist. First off love the packaging, so sleek and provides a fine mist. The scent is not overpowering smelling like citrus, but subtle. Really like this mist.
This is new to the Edible Beauty range. I’m a big fuss pot with moisturisers and I didn’t love this, but that’s a personal preference. The lotion is very thin and you need to make sure to shake it before applying. Even though this is thin, it provides enough hydration for my oily/ combination skin. If you have dry skin, apply a few drops of face oil to your skin beforehand. In terms of the tint, its very neutral and adapts to your skin tone. The tint provides no coverage, but makes your skin luminous. It’s not a bad moisturiser by any means, I just didn’t love it.
I’ve only just started using this eye cream so I can’t talk about its long-term benefits. But for now, I can tell you it’s the most luxe eye cream I’ve ever used! It literally has real gold flecks in the eye cream. Now I don’t know what it does, but I love it! The cream is really hydrating yet not too heavy to use in the morning under makeup. I’ve really enjoyed using this eye cream and can’t wait to see the long term results!
When I met Anna at the Sephora Showcase she was super excited to share her new product, the Edible Beauty Sheet Masks that contain natural anti-ageing ingredients. Let’s just say my expectations were high. Personally I found the sheet mask a bit small for my face, see below. But at the same time it was good, because it meant the sheet and the serums were able to go really close to my under eye area. The sheet contained plenty of serum without being too slippy. After 15 minutes the sheet mask felt pretty dry. After taking off the sheet mask I massaged the remaining serum onto my face and neck. I found the results were instant, my skin felt more hydrated, looked clearer and felt plump. I also love that you can use this just before an event and don’t have to worry that there’s going to be too much product left on your skin. I was really impressed with these sheet masks and at only $49 for 3 sheet masks, they’re relatively reasonably priced.
I’ve really enjoyed using the products from the Edible Beauty brand. As you can see my absolute favourite is the Bloom of Youth Infusion Masks. While they aren’t cheap, they are definitely one of my favourite sheet masks. Edible Beauty is available from Sephora Australia or directly from their website.
Also, I would really appreciate if you gave my Facebook page a like, at rachel beauty style. Thank you xx
