Hello lovely readers,
As you all know I’ve decided to use predominately Ultraceuticals skincare products and I’ve been loving the results! Today I wanted to share my morning skincare routine and the following week I’ll share what products I use in the evening.
Disclaimer; I have oily to combination skin. My skin concerns are blemishes and texture.
This is a really lovely gel cleanser and smells divine! Its only lightly fragrant and I can’t quite pin point the smell, is it cucumber or green apple? In terms of the texture its quite a thick gel but really nourishing. Its gentle enough to use in the morning and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed.
This is my morning treatment product targeted at minimising the amount of breakouts I have and helping any blemishes heal quicker. To start off I used this every second morning before moisturiser and as my skin built up its tolerance I used it every day. To start off with the smell is disgusting, I don’t know how to describe it but Bae says it smells like popcorn which I disagree with because I love the smell of popcorn. In terms of texture, it feels like a moisturiser. After I’ve applied the lotion to my face, my face can look a bit oily. At first I was alarmed but it didn’t actually make my skin oiler throughout the day.
This is a two in one product, it’s a moisturiser and an SPF. I love that its moisturising without being thick and heavy like other moisturisers. It also doesn’t have a white cast, bonus! This moisturiser is also great under makeup and doesn’t make me oily but isn’t too matiffying as well.
The star product of my morning skincare routine is the Ultra Clear Treatment Lotion*. While the smell is disgusting, I can deal with it because the results are awesome! When I first started using this my skin was breaking out and I felt that this lotion got all the gunk out quicker and healed the blemishes so much faster.
