Hello beauties,
Today is my first day back to work. While I wish I was still on holidays, I kinda like the idea of putting on makeup again. Today, I bring to you a simple work makeup look using just drugstore products. The whole look took me about 20 to 30 minutes to put together.
1. Klara Cosmetics Zero Pores No Fine Lines Primer*
This is a great drugstore primer for oily skin gals. It has a silicone feel which I don’t mind but I know a lot of people don’t like the feel of silicone.
2. Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation- 400 Natural Beige*
You don’t see me using this much on my Instagram as is its quite light for me. But for the purpose of this blog post and variety I decided to use it. It’s a great medium to full coverage, long lasting foundation. The only down side is the limited shade range.
3. Thin Lizzy Crème Concealer- Pacific Sun*
4. Revlon Sculpt and Highlight Contour Kit-Medium*
I’ve been giving this palette a lot of love! After applying my concealer I applied some of the Banana shade under my eyes to set the concealer. Onto the cheeks, mixing the bronzer and contour shade I applied this in a 3 shape using the contour brush provided. I love this palette to create a subtle sculpted look.
5. The Balm Instain Blush- Swiss Dot*
This is great long wearing blush. If you’re on the hunt for a matte blush that’s long wearing, then I highly recommend checking out The Balm Instain blushes. After blush, I applied the highlight shade from the Revlon Sculpt and Highlight Contour Kit*.
6. Booki Brow Trio Compact- Dark Brown/ Charcoal*
This brow powder isn’t from the drugstore, but I haven’t featured it before, so here it is! I’ve used the dark brown shade to fill in my brows.
7. Nude by Nature- Natural Wonders Eyeshadow Palette*
Starting with the cool tone matte brown, I think its shade 9, I applied this into the crease and lower lash line. For the lid colour, I applied the shade 7, which I think is a close dupe for MAC Woodwinked. When using these eyeshadows, I was super impressed by the quality and pigmentation. They were easy to blend and offered a great colour selection.
8. L’Oreal False Lash Butterfly Sculpt Mascara*
9. Wet n Wild Lipstick- Bare It All
For a nude lipstick option, I decided to show you Wet n Wild lipstick in Bare It All. This is a beautiful universally flattering nude lipstick, that’s also super cheap!
10. Rimmel Moisture Renew Sheer and Shine Lipstick- Red-y Set Go!*
Rimmel do a beautiful range of lipsticks. I like that this lipstick range as its really creamy and moisturising.

The palette offers pretty colors, I really like it. I was just at the drugstore looking at this foundation and I was pretty disappointed, because even the lightest shade was too dark for me. 😦
