I recently celebrated my engagement with all my family and friends. With everything else that was organised, my makeup was planned to the T. With my makeup look I wanted it to be, a bit of glam, easy and long wearing. I definitely ticked all the boxes and wanted to share the products I used on the day.
I used the darkest contour shade to contour the hollows of my cheeks, forehead and jawline. I apply the contour using a Real Techniques Contour Brush as its tapered but still allows you to blend out the product. Using a clean brush I applied the Banana colour as a base to my under eye concealer to brighten up the area. I then topped it off with some concealer for added coverage.
I used this to set my face but avoided the contour and highlighted areas. I used a Banana Powder to set my under eye area and bronzer to set the contour.
This is my go-to warm toned brown that I apply in my crease with a fluffy brush. Then using a small pointed brush I applied this to my lower lash line.
Using a clean flat shader brush I applied this directly to my lid and used the fluffy brush from before to blend out the edges. Then using an angled brush I applied some black eyeshadow to my top lash line and used the remnants on my lower lash line for some added definition. I love Woodwinked eyeshadow, it’s a subtle goldy brown eyeshadow.
You know these are my favourite lashes! They’re not over the top but add volume and drama. They are super easy to apply and the lash glue is amazing! My lashes didn’t pop off at all during the day!
This did a great job at prolonging my makeup. I was unable to touch up my makeup all day and at the end of the night I only had a little bit of extra oil.
I hope you liked this makeup look as much as I did! For the dress, I wore a Zimmermann dress that I had been obsessing over for years! Also below is a photo of my Fiancé, probably the one and only photo you will ever see of him x
