Brand Focus: McArthur Natural Products

Hello beauties,

As you all know I’m transitioning to natural skincare which has seen great results to the overall look and feel of my skin. While on the search for more natural skincare products to join my routine I came across McArthur Natural Products*. What’s unique about the McArthur Natural Products is that their products contain Pawpaw Extract which has a lot of benefits for the skin. We’re all familiar with the old faithful red tube of pawpaw. We use it on our lips, burns, mosquito bites you name it! So it makes sense that there’s a brand that has developed a whole beauty range with this wonder ingredient, Pawpaw!

Here are few of the products I’ve tried over the past couple of weeks.

Gentle Cream Cleanser*

I’ve been using this cleanser every morning and night and find this really hydrating and nourishing for my skin. This has to be the creamiest cleanser I’ve ever tried. After cleansing my face, my skin still feels like it has a layer of moisturiser. This would be suitable for all skin types except extremely oily. I’ve also been using this with my Clarisonic Mia Fit at night and the cleanser works perfectly with it.

Hydrating Facial Cream*

This is a really hydrating face cream without being thick. I’ve been using this morning and night. What’s unique about this moisturiser is that it feels really hydrating but dries really quickly, leaving you feeling like you have no moisturiser on at all. In the morning I’ve been using this under my makeup and it hasn’t made me oiler throughout the day. As a night cream it still provides enough hydration, however I always still apply a serum and face oil.

Complete Skincare Body Wash*

I wasn’t excepting much from this body wash, however was surprisingly impressed. For a natural body wash it smelt really nice (not overpowering) and lathered up really well in my hand or with a shower puff. This is a great no fuss body cleanser. If you do have sensitive skin this would be a great natural alternative that shouldn’t cause any irritation while leaving your skin hydrated.

McArthur Natural Products are great if you suffer from any of the following conditions; psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis and mild arthritis. I don’t suffer from any of those conditions so I won’t comment on its effectiveness for those health conditions. However their therapeutic creams targeting those ailments are some of their best selling products, so they must work!
