Updated: Evening Skincare Routine

Hello beauties,

If you’re a regular follower of the blog, you’ll know I’ve recently transitioned to predominately organic skincare. Today I wanted to share my updated skincare routine, featuring all my new organic faves and some old skincare favourites that are not organic.

Wildcrafted Organics Neroli Cleansing Oil*

I start off by removing my makeup using the cleansing oil. I massage about 7 pumps of the oil onto my dry/ makeup on my face. Then using a warm muslin cloth, I wipe away all the makeup.

Skinstitut Glycolic Cleanser*

Then I jump into the shower and use the Skinstitut Glycolic Cleanser with my Clarisonic Mia 2*. I prefer to apply the cleanser to my face with my hands rather than straight onto the brush head, but that’s just a personal preference. With the Clarisonic I follow the beeps and leave it on for 20 seconds on each cheek, 10 seconds on the forehead and 10 seconds on my chin. After my 60 second cleanse with the Clarisonic, my skin is feeling a lot cleaner. Personally I find it really satisfying to look at the brush head and see how much make up is on the brush. The Clarisonic removes 6 times more makeup and grime than manual cleansing! Click here to check out my review of the Clarisonic Mia.

Wildcrafted Organics Wild Rose Botanical Mist*

After I’ve finished showering and drying off, I apply a few spritz of the Rose Mist. I love that its super fine, not heavily fragrant and it actually helps with all my serums and moisturisers absorbing so much better.

For serums I mix it up between the Wildcrafted Organics Wildflowers Rejuvenating Serum* or the Antipodes Skin Brightening Serum*.

For moisturisers I’ve been alternating a bit between the Weleda Skin Food* and Neutrogena Hydro Boost. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost is a gel like texture, so it absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel heavy or thick on the skin. The Weleda Skin Food on the other hand is a very thick moisturiser. Skin Food is best applied once its first warmed up in the hands as it creates an oiler texture, making it easier to blend into the skin.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what products I’ve been loving. There are a few other bits and pieces that I use on alternate nights, but for simplicity these are the core products I’ve been using every night.
