Serums for All Skin Needs

Hello beauties,

The realm of serums can be extremely overwhelming when you’re starting out. I’ve been using serums for years and still get overwhelmed for choice! Here’s a few of my favourites that are targeted for specific needs such as pigmentation, brighter skin. Hopefully you’ll find one that suits your skin needs x

For Beloved One Hyaluronic Acid Serum*

This serum contains one of my favourite ingredients, hyaluronic acid! Hyaluronic acid is used to retain moisturise in the skin which ultimately makes your skin more hydrated and prevents the signs of ageing. What’s unique about this serum is it contains three types of hyaluronic acid that captures, retains and creates moisture in the skin. The serum itself is so light weight and thin and feels like water. It absorbs really quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling on the skin.

Antipodes Brightening Serum*

You know this is one of my favourite serums! After only using this serum for a couple of weeks my skin was noticeably brighter. I don’t think it adds much hydration as it’s a water based serum, but definitely brightens the skin. But don’t worry you can always layer serums.

Skin Therapy Dragons Blood Sculpting Serum*

I’m a big fan of the dragons blood as it’s a natural ingredient targeted at anti-aging. This is a thin serum that absorbs quickly into the skin. I apply the serum before moisturiser, one pump for during the day and two pumps for the evening. After using this on a regular basis for a couple of weeks I notice my skin was more plump and clear from blemishes. My mother in law is obsessed with this because of its anti-ageing properties.

Manuka Doctor Drops of Crystal Cashmere Touch Serum*

This serum contains Manuka honey and crystal drops (not entirely sure what that means) but anyway its designed to firm and plump your skin which reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.I apply a pump morning and night before I apply my moisturiser. I like that it has a gel like texture but still quite light weight. I feel this leaves my skin looking radiant and feeling more hydrated.

Wildcrafted Organics Wildflowers Rejuvenating Serum*

While this is called a serum, it’s an oil. It contains all my favourites oils, argan oil, rosehip oil and vitamin E. I use this morning and night and it has left my skin feeling more hydrated, smooth and has helped reduce my acne scarring.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum

This is a great all-rounder serum that’s targeted at anti-ageing, hydration and reducing pigmentation. I love this one when I don’t want to overthink my skincare but still want my skin looking great.

Hope you’ve learnt about some new serums to help with your skin needs. All these serums are suitable for all skin types, with each targeted for specific purposes such as hydration, pigmentation or anti-ageing. If you have any questions, make sure to comment below xx
