Brand Focus: Klara Cosmetics

Hello beauties,

Klara Cosmetics is a relatively new beauty brand but definitely growing in recognition for its awesome products! I had the lovely pleasure of meeting Klara herself at the Priceline event, where she showed me so many new and exciting Klara products! Klara Cosmetics is one of those interesting hybrid beauty brands that have both skincare and makeup. Currently only the skincare is sold at Priceline but the makeup is available from Klara Cosmetics online and Sephora.

Klara Cosmetics Reset Dragon’s Blood Face Mask*

This is a sheet mask containing one of my favourite ingredients, Dragon’s Blood! When I first opened the packet I was impressed by how much moisturise there was. Applying the mask was quite difficult due to all the moisture but manageable. The mask itself was a weird size… I either have a really big mouth and eyes or the mask was the wrong size. Refer to Instagram Stories for a terrible photo @rachelbeautystyle. Moving on from that, the mask sat nicely on my face with minimal movement. I left it on for about 20 minutes and still had left over moisture that I massaged into my skin. The sheet mask left my skin feeling really hydrated and looked plump. I personally would only use this at night as there so much moisture.

Klara Cosmetics Reset Glow*

This is an interesting product. It can be used as a moisturiser or primer. I use it as a moisturiser as I like something a bit more heavy duty to keep the oils at bay. With the Reset Glow it has a slight iridescent glow, but definitely no shimmer and blends seamlessly so its invisible. This claims to nourish the skin with the equivalent of 8 glasses of water. On my oily skin it provides the perfect amount of hydration without making me oily. However if you have dry skin you might need something a little more heavy duty.

Klara Cosmetics Zero Pores Plus Primer*

This is a silicone based primer in the truest sense. It feels and looks like silicone based primer. This may be a negative to some people, but personally I had no issues with it.  I apply about a pea size amount to my face and it makes my makeup last really well throughout the day. I don’t have overly large pores so I didn’t notice if it minimised the size of my pores, but it did create a nice smooth base for my makeup.

Klara Cosmetics Kiss Proof Lips*

These are really comfortable on the lips and apply really easily. They bunch up a little when reapplying but you don’t need to reapply much as they last well when eating and drinking. Fun fact, I was wearing 05 when I got engaged!

I hope you enjoyed this snapshot into the Klara Cosmetics brand! I really want to the Reset Gel which is one of their best selling products. Its so unique, that it is designed to mimic a microdermabrasion treatment in a bottle! I tried this at the Priceline event, and OMG it removed all the dirt and grim! Definitely worth checking out x
