Hello beauties,
Today I wanted to share with you some of my favourite foundations at the moment. Hopefully I can introduce you to some new foundations that are definitely worth trying out! Disclaimer; I have oily to combination skin.
This is an old favourite! I love that it creates a flawless, dewy finish without completely slipping off my oily face. NARS Sheer Glow provides medium but buildable coverage. The colour selection is quite wide so I’m sure you’ll find a shade to suit. Click here for a full review of the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation.
Love love love! I use this most days as it’s an affordable foundation but provides decent coverage and lasts all day on my skin. The colour selection has expanded in Australia so you should be able to find one to suit. Alternatively, you can mix and match to create the perfect shade. Innoxa Age Erase Serum Foundation
This is such an underrated foundation but definitely worth trying. This foundation provides full coverage and a satin finish. The shade range is poor with only 5 colours. When I need my foundation to last all day and have decent coverage, I mix the Innoxa foundation with the Loreal True Match. They are a match made in heaven! Below is the combination of the Loreal True Match and Innoxa Age Erase Serum Foundation.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation
This is a new foundation to me. I love that it’s a water foundation, so super lightweight on the skin. Even though its water based, it provides medium coverage. The finish is quite unique, I feel it’s more on the matte side but not completely matte (if that even makes sense??). It lasts really well throughout the day, however I always set with powder. The colour range is a bit off. I purchased the same colour that I am in the Tarte Airbrush Foundation and it’s a tad too light. Make sure to try a sample before purchasing to ensure you get the right colour match.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation
This is my holy grail foundation! This is a beautiful mineral foundation that provides medium to full coverage. Throughout the day I feel that this foundation perform even better as the natural oils provide a beautiful glowy effect on the skin. Whenever my skin is playing up this is my go to foundation. I also love to use this to set foundation when I want my makeup to last all day and night to provide more coverage. Click here for a full review of the Tarte foundation.

I’m still searching for my favourite foundation! Loving the Estee Lauder Double Wear Cushion right now. It looks like skin and is so comfortable. I like the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage foundation, but I struggle to find the right shade.

Your skin looks fabulous in every one of these foundations Rachel – I haven’t tried any of them but you’ve sold me on the Amazonian Clay one. I also have combination skin with a very oily T. My current fave is the new one from Mirenesse (Smooth Nude Mousse), and I’m also a fan of Australis Stayput. So many foundations to choose from – what a pity I only have one face lol xxx

No it doesn’t have an SPF but I would recommend applying a sunscreen underneath. I love the MyChelle matte one, its great at not making me oily!
