Skin Therapy is a new skincare brand available exclusively at Coles Supermarkets. Skin Therapy products are targeted at anti-aging using Bee Venom and Dragon’s Blood. While I’m only 26, I can’t comment if the products helped reduce the fine lines or wrinkles, however I can share my opinions if it’s made a difference to my skin as I’m conscious of keeping my skin looking its best (regardless of age).
I’ve been using these products all together for the past couple of weeks. Please note my skin is oily/ combination but these products are suitable for all skin types.
I’m a big fan of dragons blood as it’s a natural ingredient targeted at anti-aging. This is a thin serum that absorbs quickly into the skin. I apply the serum before the moisturisers, one pump for during the day and two pumps for the evening.
The moisturiser feels quite moussey, similar to a chocolate mousse (so quite dense). It takes a little while to work into the skin and has a tacky finish which makes a great base under makeup. My makeup sits fine on top of this moisturiser. This moisturiser would be suitable to all skin types. If you have dry skin I would recommend mixing in a few drops of oil for added hydration.
The night moisturiser has a similar texture to the day moisturiser. It’s definitely more nourishing than the day moisturiser but personally not has hydrating as what I would like from a night moisturiser. Both the day and night moisturisers have a light scent of honey, not overwhelming but you can notice it.
Overall my skin is looking great, clear, maybe a little plumper (hard to tell as I’m quite young). I think the star product out of the range and a personal favourite of mine is the Dragons Blood Serum. I think the range would be suitable for all skin types but if you have dry skin add a few drops of a face oil for added hydration. If you’re after some anti-aging skincare without the hefty price tag then Skin Therapy is for you! The products retail for around $30 each, which is very affordable. Skin Therapy is available exclusively at Coles Supermarkets.
Below is my skin after using the Skin Therapy range for a couple of weeks.
