Places to Visit: Bali Edition

Hello travellers,

Seems like everyone and their mum, dad, brother and sister are all going to Bali! I recently went to Bali for the first time and was overwhelmed so I asked for loads of recommendations and was so happy with the places I went that I wanted to share them with you!

Victory BLC Centre- Bali*

Victory BLC provides a unique treatment using their BLC Therapy. The benefits of the BLC Therapy include rejuvenated skin, regrowth of thinning hair and treating muscular pain. The treatment is so unique and consists of gently rolling an ion onto problem areas using their BLC serum. The best way to describe the roller is similar to a jade beauty roller but made of metal, however surprisingly not painful. The treatment takes about 2 hours, starting with the back using the rolling ion, flipping to the front and repeating on the face and front of the body. They also apply Vitamin C and E serum and finish off with a sheet mask. After the session we were able to compare the results with a before and after photo. My skin was noticeably less oily, more hydrated and not as dark under my eyes. If you can’t get to Bali to try this out, Victory BLC also have a salon in Chatswood, Sydney.

The Bistrot

Out of the whole trip this is where we had the best food and cocktails! The Bistrot offers a variety of food, from international staples such as burgers to Asian options such as Indonesian fave, Nasi Goreng. The Bistrot is slightly hidden and looks a bit fancy but don’t be turned off. The Bistrot is located on the main street in Seminyak. Make sure to check it out, you won’t regret it!

Motel Mexicola

Most tourists would already know about Mexicola. It reminds me of El Loco but cooler, large space to sit, eat and drink. It’s just a really cool vibe! The corn is a bit weird, not a negative just unique, but the tacos are amazing!

Potato Head

Another popular venue for tourists. Potato Head is a pool club where you can go and spend the day by the pool and beach and be spoilt for choice by food and cocktails. I highly recommend getting their early around 10.30- 11am so you get a good spot. Also if you’re healthy, make sure to check out Café Organic which is practically opposite Potato Head.

Additional recommendations:

Body Works Bali This is located opposite Motel Mexiola, so very central in Seminyak. I had the most amazing hair mask there! They do a variety of beauty treatments, make sure to book online beforehand as they get really busy. They also have a Facebook page so make sure to check it out.

Kimberly Spas- @katinalindaa recommended this spa for massages. She said it was the best massage she ever had! Personally I didn’t get a chance to try it out but worth a visit. Look out for the green signs.

White Water Rafting- If you’re interested in outdoor activities than this is for you! A bit of a walk up and down a steep hill, but so beautiful and a great experience. Also not scary at all….
