Hello beauties,
Recently I brought you 5 makeup items that are worth the hype, this week I bring to you 5 makeup items that don’t have enough hype. Here’s my picks that are worth checking out x
Innoxa Skin Perfect Pore Vanishing Cream
This is one of the best drugstore primers I’ve ever used! I honestly think this is a dupe for the Benefit Porefessional, click here for my comparison of the two.
Coty Air Spun Loose Face Powder- Translucent
I’ve recently fallen in love with this powder again. It’s a great drugstore powder that creates a flawless finish, minimises pores and keeps the oils at bay. Definitely worth adding to the shopping list if you’re after a new face powder.
I know everyone is crazy about The Balm Mary-Lou-Manizer, but honestly I think Betty-Lou-Manizer is the real star! It’s a bronzing highlighter that gives the perfect glowy bronze highlight look. If you have fair skin then you’ll probably have to pass on this. But if you have olive to dark skin then this is a winner!
I think I’ve found my new holy grail mascara! This mascara brush clings onto each lash, adding length and volume. Personally I think it also holds a curl really well, which is so important when you have straight Asian lashes like me!
Makeup Monsters Matte Liquid Lipstick
I’m always trying new liquid lipsticks, trying to find the next best thing and the Makeup Monsters Liquid Lipsticks do not disappoint. They have the same formula and texture (and very similar packaging) to the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks. There are so many shades that are quite unique. I only have one of their lipsticks but I’m looking to add more to my collection.

That’s why I bought it! I actually picked mine up from the States, but you can get it from Crush Cosmetics. I’ve tagged them on the Coty Air Spun product so it should take you directly to their website x

Wow I’m pretty darn keen to try the Essence mascara – I need curl, length and volume too! The Coty powder sounds beaut too – I didn’t realise that Coty was still around, I remember it from teenage years. Their “smudge pots” eyeshadows were the first ones I ever used, just adored the purple and green ones, they were quite an innovation at the time (long LONG ago ha ha). Thanks doll, these are all terrific, and I love finding out what you love ♥

fabulous post Rachel! I love The balm and Essence already so I’ll have to try out the two you mentioned. I have Mary Lou but you can never have enough highlighters in your collection 🙂 I’ve heard amazing things about Essence mascaras so they are on my list to try x
