Review: Natural Secrets Goat Milk

Hello Beauties,

I was first introduced to skincare products made of goat’s milk by some friends with sensitive skin. These friends had super sensitive skin suffering with eczema, rosacea and overall dryness. Lucky for me I don’t suffer from sensitive skin but I love using gentle products on my body so I was super keen to try skincare products using goats milk.

Natural Secrets specialises in producing skincare products using goats milk. Their products don’t contain any of the nasties such as parabens and other harsh chemicals. They focus on using naturally derived ingredients to cleanse, moisturiser and protect the skin.

Here’s my thoughts on a few products I tried from the range:

Goats Milk Soap- Soft and Natural $3.75*

I’m not a soap bar person so this was never going to be a winner for me. I personally didn’t mind this, I found it gentle to use on the skin, foams up well and scented. But the thing that I disliked was after I washed the soap off my skin felt squeaky clean like when you use other soap bars. Repurchase: NO

Goats Milk Soap- with Oatmeal $3.75*

I found the oatmeal was unnecessary as it didn’t really exfoliate the skin. When Bae tried this out he said, “there’s absolutely no scent whatsoever. And it doesn’t glide over your skin, it’s quite dry on the skin.” Personally I think he’s a bit over dramatic… Repurchase: NO

Goats Milk Moisturising Shower Gel $11.99*

I’m a shower gel kinda gal! And this was a winner in my books. Super gentle on the skin, lightly fragrant, lathers up well, easy to wash off and left the skin feeling lightly moisturised. Repurchase: YES

Goats Milk Moisturising Hand Cream $6.99*

Not too heavy on the skin and lightly fragrant. Repurchase: YES

Goats Milk Moisturising Body Cream $17.99*

Wasn’t expecting to love this but this body cream is pretty awesome. Its light weight but still quite creamy, lightly fragrant, absorbs and dries quickly. If you have sensitive skin this is a must! Repurchase: YES

They also have products tailored for babies’ skin and also have some hair care products. Overall I’m really happy with the products I’ve tried. I just wish they had a face cleanser!

  1. Shame about the bars, but that body lotion sounds nice. Though I do have a cupboard full of body lotion, eeeep!

  2. Just the name sounds so rich and moisturising – being a body wash fanatic, I’m def giving the shower gel a go. In winter my skin needs an extra boost of moisture, and this sounds perfect Rachel thanks hon xxx
