Hello my lovely followers and readers!
Here’s my latest instalment on my healthy lifestyle journey. I’ve finished up with my trainer prior to Christmas so it’s interesting to see the changes…
In total from when I started with my trainer to when I finished up with her, I lost 9cm from my abdomen (my problem area) and 1.5kilos. At first I was a little disappointed but when I looked at the Body Fat %, I went down 3% which is pretty good! Since finishing up with my trainer I was recently measured again and have lost and additional 2.5 kilos and went down 1.5% in Body Fat so I’m really happy I have been dedicated with my fitness and have seen positive results.
In addition to working out consistently, 5 days a week, I’ve been eating smaller portions and its definitely made all the difference. I find the My Fitness Pal app really helps with monitoring my calorie intake.
I have noticed I’ve lost a little definition since finishing up with my trainer. But I’ve been able to easily tone up again, which I think has been helped with the smaller portions.
Here’s one of the workouts I was doing with my trainer that I’m still incorporating into my current workout:
- X trainer for 8 minutes
- Step Lunges- 4 steps, 5 kg and 15 reps
- Jumping Lunges x 10 each leg
- Pulses 10kg x 30 seconds
- Donkey Kicks 5 kg x 12 each leg
- Machine Squats 60 kg x 6
