Hello lovely ladies!
Maybelline are back at it again with some awesome new releases! In addition to the ones mentioned below they’re also releasing the Color Tattoos in a leather formula, think matte cream eyeshadows!
All products will be available in stores in February.
Maybelline Lip Studio Colorblur Matte Lipsticks $17.95*
Another unique lip product, one side is a cream matte pencil and the other side is a smudger allowing you to create different finishes. When applying first read the instructions, I couldn’t figure out how to wind it up! Basically you wind it up from the smudger section and keep turning it up. What I love about this lipstick is, it applies like a lip pencil but feels like a creamy matte lipstick. I think the smudger side is a bit gimmicky but hey you might be into that.
The Colour Blur Matte Pencils are available in 8 vivid shades. If you’re a nude gal then these aren’t for you.

Maybelline Color Senstational Creamy Mattes $16.95*
I’m not gonna lie, I was most excited about these lipsticks. I’m already a big fan of the Color Sensationral range as they lipsticks are so pigmented. What’s unique about the matte range is that it has a creamy formula. When applying this to the lips I recommend using a lip liner, I seemed to struggle to apply it. It’s a creamy matte formula, so you get the staying power of a matte lipstick but also your lips don’t feel like they’re dying of dehydration.
The matte lipsticks are available in 8 shades from the perfect nude to the deepest plum, something for everyone!

Maybelline Master Brow Pro Palette $18.95*
The Brow Palette has everything a gal can need, it comes with a wax, powder and a highlighter and lets not forget a brow brush that actually works. Personally I found the wax quite hard to work with, it was very stiff to apply, therefore difficult to actually get on the brow. The powder has great pigmentation and the colour is awesome! The highlight shade is a bit unnecessary but a nice touch, adds a subtle highlight to complete the look. You still need a spooly to brush through the product so make sure you have one handy.

The Colorblur lippies look like fun, but the blur end is confusing. I saw on another blog someone used it to create an ombre look which is interesting but may be beyond my skill level! 🙂
