Review: Olive Skincare Range

Hello beauties,

Have you heard about Olive Skincare? Well I hadn’t until recently. Lucky for me I was given the opportunity to trial a few things out from the range. What made me want to try the range was that all the products are made from olive oil! Doesn’t that sound awesome? We all know that coconut oil, rose hip oil, jojoba oil is great for the skin, why not try olive oil?

Olive Hydrating Shower Gel*

Seems like a boring product but personally one of my favourites of the range. When you squeeze it out it has that oil texture, it’s slightly solid but yet dissolves quickly. When you start working into the skin it foams up surprisingly well and best off all it rinses off without leaving an oily residue! After washing it off my skin feels soft and subtle. Repurchase: YES

Olive SPF15 Face Moisturiser*

This has quite a thick formulation, similar to the texture of sunscreen but slightly lighter. I found it really hydrating on my skin, easy to work in, however made my skin a bit oily throughout the day. I would recommend this as a winter day moisturiser or for dry skin. Repurchase: YES

Olive Renew Eye Contour Cream*

I’m so fussy with eye creams but I really liked this. It’s thicker formula but not too heavy on the under eye area. It works really well under makeup and provides enough hydration during the night. Repurchase: YES

Olive Lip Balm*

I was really excited to try this but was greatly disappointed. I was planning on using this lip balm exclusively during my travels but was disappointed in its hydrating qualities. I didn’t like this it felt like pure oil. It didn’t last on the lips for long and didn’t hydrate them at all. Repurchase: NO

Olive Hair Nourishing Shampoo* and Hydrating Conditioner*

The shampoo is quite thin and runny and the conditioner is quite thin for a conditioner. Both smelled a bit like olive oil which was lovely. Over the next couple of days I found my hair looked a bit greasier than usual. Personally I think this was too heavy for my scalp, but if you have a dry scalp this could be perfect for you. Alternatively wash your hair with the conditioner first then the shampoo. Repurchase: NO

Olive Body Moisturising Milk*

The moisturiser smells amazing like the other products from the range. It has a milky light weight texture that’s easy to blend into the skin, dries quickly and is perfect for summer! Repurchase: YES

The Olive skincare range is an affordable brand that offers great quality natural products. If you’re interested in trying out any of their products I would recommend checking out their Packs, as there’s some great bargains available! Olive Skincare is sold on their website and through speciality retailers, such as Terry White Chemist.
