Makeup of the Day: Drugstore Work Appropriate

Hello beauties,

Today I wanted to show you how easy it is to create a work appropriate makeup look just using drugstore products. Some of the products listed below are my all-time favourite makeup items, goes to show you don’t have to pay top dollar for quality makeup.

1. Innoxa Skin Perfecting Pore Vanishing Cream

Click here for a detailed review of this amazing primer!

2. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Matte + Poreless- 330

This is a new foundation to me, so watch this space for a full review. I applied this by using my damp Beauty Blender to blend in the foundation.

3. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer- 35

First time using this concealer and really impressed with the coverage and texture. I applied some directly under my eyes and used my damp Beauty Blender to blend it in.

4. Coty Airspun Loose Powder

I used this powder to set my foundation and concealer. This powder is fantastic to create a flawless and poreless finish.

5. Maybelline Brow Satin- Dark Brown

I start off by filling in my brows with the pencil side. I then use a spooly to blend it in and finish off with the powder side. Personally I don’t see the purpose of the powder side, but the pencil side is awesome!

6. Innoxa BB Bronzing Powder

7. Milani Baked Blush- Berry Amore

8. Essence Highlighter

8. LÓreal Infallible Eyeshadow- Taupe

This eyeshadow is amazing quality and is said to be a dupe for the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill. I find the best way to apply this eyeshadow is with your finger. I applied this directly to my eyelid and used a flat shader brush to apply some to my lower lash line. I then used a fluffy blending brush to blend the edges.

9. Rimmel Kohl Liner- Brown

I applied the eyeliner to my top lash line for some added definition and my lower water line.

10. Rimmel Super Curler Mascara*

11. Lipstick

There are so many great drugstore lipstick options and I wanted to show how versatile this makeup look was so below are a few different lip options.

Wearing Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in 1995
Wearing Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107
Wearing Maybelline Color Drama in Fab Orange
