Makeup of the Day: Christmas Edition

Hello beauties,

Today I wanted to share with you a Christmas makeup look I created for a party. Think I hint of glitter, long wearing and full coverage.

1. Benefit Porefessional

2. Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation*- 400

I mixed a bit of the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer as it’s a hint too dark, ultimately creating the perfect foundation shade. I used a damp Beauty Blender to blend in the foundation. I think the Rimmel Foundation looks the best when applied with a Beauty Blender.

3. Innoxa Correct and Conceal Palette*

4. Williams Pro Makeup- Zero Powder*

5. Colour Theory- Oh Brow Beautiful! Brow Palette*

6. Urban Decay Primer Potion

7. Makeup Geek Eyeshadow- Crème Brule

First off I applied some stick tape from my lower lash line to the end of my eyebrow to make it easy to create a sharp wing. I then applied the eyeshadow into the crease using a fluffy blending brush.

8. Makeup Geek Eyeshadow- Peach Smoothie

I then applied a light dusting of Peach Smoothie onto my mobile lid then blended out with the fluffy brush from before.

9. Eye of Horus- Alchemy Gold Liquid Metal*

I was super excited to use this liquid gold eyeliner! I think its perfect for the party season! I applied this to create a thick wing using the tape as a guide.

10.Loreal Super Liner Gel Eyeliner

I let the gold liner dry before lining my lash line with the black gel liner. To be honest I don’t think this worked very well as the gel formula was too dry. I think a black liquid liner would be much better to achieve the double wing look. To overcome my messy liner look as pictured below, I then went back over the top using an angled brush and black eyeshadow to create more of a messy black wing.

11. MAC Eye Khol- Teddy

12. Rimmel Super Curler Mascara*

13. The Balm- Betty Lou Manizer

14. The Balm- Mary Lou Manizer

15. Maybelline Color Drama

I wanted to show you the look with a red lip if you feel more festive and a nude lip (you can never go wrong with a nude lip).
