Part 2: My Healthy Lifestyle Journey

Hello my lovely followers and readers!

Here’s my latest instalment on my healthy lifestyle journey. It’s been 6 weeks since I last shared my update, which you can check it out here.

I had my last weigh in and my measurements were a bit all over the place… In summary I’ve gained and lost about a cm from areas of my body but most excitedly I lost 6cms from my stomach! Woo hoo! I was concerned why I’ve lost and gained centimetres in other areas, and my trainer said its because my body is going through change. Next weigh in it should all be more stablished. Weight loss wise I lost 1 kilo which was disappointing. But on the plus side my body looks more toned and defined and I feel so much fitter!

Here’s one of my current PT work outs I’ve been doing with my trainer.

  • Rower for 1km
  • Bench press 15kg x 10 reps
  • Push ups 15 reps
  • Squats with shoulder raises 6kg x 15 reps
  • Leg press 60kg x 10 reps
  • X-trainer for 100m
  • Leg raises 20 reps

Here’s some of healthy dinners. I’m aiming for about a handful of protein (meat) and the remaining being veggies. Lucky for me I’ve really been enjoying my veggies!

  1. You’re doing amazing! Well done! Do you eat carbs during the day and just limit them in your dinners (can’t see many int he pictures). Don’t forget about those babies, they give us so much energy (I mainly do brown rice). And definitely don’t put too much pressure on yourself to lose weight. I don’t even weigh myself anymore.. I focus on measurements because when you’re doing weights, you’re building muscle and therefore you’re bound to put on some weight but you’re actually smaller. As you said…. you lost 1kg but 6cm from your waist.. That says everything right there! 🙂 xoxox >3

    1. Thanks Tahana for your tips! I don’t eat much carbs like rice (unless its with curry, so once a week…)… The only carbs I would eat would be in veggies such as potatoes… I should really look into eating more carbs like grains etc…
