Hello beauties,
I was lucky enough to be part of the state rep team for Bloggers United and was part of organising the Sydney event on Sunday. It was amazing to see it all come together and to see everyone having such a great time! Here’s the rundown of the day.
The event was held at the trendy boutique hotel, the Cambridge Hotel Surry Hills. We started off by mingling over a glass of pink non-alcoholic champagne (which was delicious!). After a bit of mingling we all sat down to be welcomed by our Bloggers United Reps including me!
Onto our first presentation by Lisa from Kryolan and Jean d’Arcel. Lisa explained the background of both the brands which was great since they’re relatively new to the market! Super excited to try my first Kyrolan product which is this gorgeous lipstick.
Next we had the lovely Lauren from Ego Pharmacies. I was super excited to meet Lauren since I’ve been emailing her for years and she was as lovely as I imagined her to be! Lauren presented brilliantly about the Elucent skincare range. Elucent skincare is new to me, it’s a whitening range without the bleach. It’s all about creating an even skin tone. Can’t wait to try out the range!
Next on the agenda was Weleda. I was really excited to learn more about the range as Weleda is so well know for their natural organic skincare range, yet I never have used any of their products. Sabine presented and was amazing! You could hear her true passion for the brand which made me want to try the brand even more!
After 3 amazing presentation we had some time to break for networking and nibbles.
Back to work time! We then had the passionate Kerrie from Beautynext. Beautynext owns NYX Australia and some other exciting beauty brands (which I can’t share with you yet, but let me tell you; they’re awesome brands!). Kerrie showed us some of the amazing new products for NYX including the coloured mascaras and the soon to be released Butter Intense Lip Gloss. Can’t wait to try them both!
We then had the lovely Chantelle talk about Rosehip Plus and Natura Siberica. If you haven’t tried Rosehip Oil get on it! Rosehip Plus makes organic Rosehip Oil and Rosehip Oil products such as their new cream cleanser.
Onto Natura Siberica, a relatively new brand to the Australian market. Made in Siberia using organic ingredients yet still affordable for us common folk! I was lucky enough to try a few of the Natura Siberica products and all I can say is OMG! The smell, the texture and the overall quality is amazing! Make sure to check out their body scrub, exclusive to Chemist Warehouse.
Then to mix things up we had Azzi from Williams Pro Makeup to introduce her new makeup range. Azzi is an international makeup artist and identified a need in the market for makeup that doesn’t have all the nasties. If that doesn’t sound good enough, you have to see the end result! Her Zero Powder is amazing! Blurs, mattifies and has skincare properties, what more can you ask from a makeup item?
We then met the lovely Jay from KFit! KFit is a fitness app which is similar to a gym membership allowing you to access hundreds of classes across the country. The plus side is; no lock in contracts, a variety of classes from yoga to pump to boot camp so there’s something for everyone!
Then we met Galina who introduced her brand; Elements Bioactiv. Galina talked about her dream to create a skincare brand that was natural and all about insuring your skin for the long haul. Can’t wait to try out the mist!
And last but not least, Yong-Li from Enbacci. I loved Yong-Li’s story about creating her skincare brand with her family after her mum started getting sensitive skin. So her family created this skincare range that’s completely unisex. The products are amazing! I tried the clay mask which is revolutionary; it dries clear and isn’t drying to the stage of hurting your skin!
It was such a full on day but so worth it! Thank you to all the bloggers and brands that attended but also to my partners in crime, Nikita, Jasmine and Sarah for putting together this amazing event!
