Hi Beauties,
I recently created this makeup look and absolutely loved the glowiness and wanted to share with you the products I used to create this look! The great thing about this look is, its long wearing!
2. Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation (Toffee) and Loreal True Match (N7)
3. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Dark)
4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation (Sand Tan)
6. The Balm- Betty Lou Manizer
Everyone raves about Mary Lou but what about Betty Lou? Personally I think Betty Lou is the true star! Betty Lou is a bronzey gold highlighter. Using a large fluffy brush I apply this to the hollows of my cheekbones and hit the tops of my cheekbones ever so slightly. I then take any leftover product on the brush and sweep the temples of my forehead.
Using the same bronzer brush I apply this relatively matte bronzer in a 3 motion, starting at the hollows of my cheekbones, temples and my jaw line.
Using a blush brush I apply this to the apples of my cheek. Personally I find this blush lasts really well throughout the day on my oily- combo skin.
9. Essence Highlighter
My all-time favourite highlighter! Using my blush brush I apply this directly to the tops of my cheekbones and run a bit under my eyebrow. Add more or less depending on your preference.
10. Makeup Geek Eyeshadow- Peach Smoothie
I applied this in the crease and just above using a MAC 217 brush.
11. Makeup Geek Eyeshadow- Crème Brule
Using the same brush I applied this into the crease to darken it up. I also ran a bit of this eye shadow on the lower lash line.
12. Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow- In the Spotlight
Using my ring finger I applied this directly to my mobile eye lids (below the crease). You can intense this shade further but it gets a bit much on my dark skin… Then going back to my blending brush I blended the edges.
I applied Teddy just into my lower water line. For my top lash line I used Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in Brown and drew a line across my top lash line, then slightly winged it out.
14. Urban Decay Eyeshadow- Black Out
Any black eyeshadow will do. Using a winged eyeliner brush I went over the top lash liner to further define the liner. Then using whatever was left of the brush I ran it on my lower lash line.
15. Maybelline Mascara- The Falsies
- Here’s a close up of a similar eye look I’ve created. As you can see I’ve slightly winged out the top lash line using the Rimmel Eyeliner and topped off with eyeshadow.
I started by lining my lips with the Rimmel Lip Liner in East End Snob which is almost the same colour. I then topped it off with the YSL Lip Stain.
I know it’s a lot of products but it was a special day for me and I’m so happy with the final look.
Wearing: Denim Shirt- Forever 21, White Long Sleeve Top- Seed, White Skirt- Michael Kors, Sandals- Windsor Smith, Clutch- Oroton

Beautiful! I have both Mary Lou and Betty Lou, but always reach for Mary Lou. I’ll try your method and see how Betty fares!

Betty Lou is my fave! I think its way better than Mary Lou, but that could be because I have darker skin xx

Well now don’t you look stunning Rachel! Yes you used a whole lot of products, but I’m the same – I don’t give a flying fig how many it takes to get to the end result, so long as it looks great, and it lasts ♥
