Makeup of the Day: Bronze Glow

Hello beauties,

With this weather finally starting to get warmer it’s time to really crack out the highlighter! I felt like creating a simple bronzy glowy makeup look that’s perfect for winter or summer. What’s great is, this makeup look can suit anyone and everyone xx

1. Innoxa Skin Perfecting Pore Vanishing Cream

Review here for more details….

2. MAC Face and Body Foundation

I apply about 5 cents worth onto my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and buff into the skin using circular motions. This foundation is perfect to create a natural glowy makeup look. Click here for a full review.

3. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind- Medium

4. Rimmel Lasting Finish Dual Finish 25 HR Powder*- Warm Honey

Using a big fluffy powder brush I lightly pushed the powder over my face to set the foundation. Powder is essential for MAC Face and Body Foundation.

5. Makeup Geek Eyeshadow- Crème Brule

I am obsessed with this colour! I thought it would be too light for me but surprisingly it’s the perfect peachy toned crease colour. I applied this into the crease using a MAC 217 brush. I then applied some to my lower lash line.

6. MAC Eyeshadow- Amber Lights

This a beautiful gold eyeshadow which can be built up when applied directly with your finger or a flat shader brush. As I wanted it to be more subtle I used a MAC 217 brush and applied to my lids. I repeated a few times to get the pigmentation I was after.

7. MAC Eyeshadow- Saddle

To be honest I was really disappointed by the pigmentation of this eyeshadow. It took quite a while to build up and it still wasn’t dark enough. I used a small pencil brush to apply it to my outer V and the to my lower lash line for some added definition.

8. Rimmel Wake Me Up Mascara*

I find this mascara is great a lengthening and separating but not so good for adding volume. Great mascara for a natural look.

10. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz- Caramel

11. The Balm- Betty Lou

This product is not talked about enough! It’s amazing for creating a bronzy glow look! Using a big fluffy brush I applied this to my cheekbones and lightly on my upper temples/ forehead.

12. MAC Blush- Springsheen

Such a gorgeous pink and gold blush that matches perfectly with Betty Lou. I lightly applied this to my cheekbones.

13. The Balm- Mary Lou

Of course I need more highlighter! I applied this to the tops of my cheekbones and to my inner tear duct using a pencil brush.

14. Shanghai Suzi Lipstick- Miss Sanja Fuchsia

This was brighter than expected so I blotted it with some tissue.

15. Revlon Just Bitten- Lovesick

For some shine on top I applied this over the top of the lipstick.

You can wear whatever lipstick you want with this look. I think a beautiful pinky nude would be perfect for everyday xx
