Review: Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser

Hey beauties,

There has been so much hype around the Nip + Fab brand in recent months, so of course I jumped on the bandwagon. I recently shared my thoughts about their Glycolic Fix Pads here…

If you’ve been around with me for a while you’ll also know my love of glycolic acid, so I was super keen to try this cleanser out. Glycolic acid is great for acne prone and oily skin types. SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES Overall Thoughts:

  • Gel/ liquid texture
  • Quite a chemical, kinda lemony scent
  • Works well with the Foreo Luna, Clarisonic and with your good old fashioned hands

When I used the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser morning and night while away on holidays I actually found this a little drying which was surprising since my skin is oily and I was in a hot climate… However I’ve been using this regularly in my evening skincare routine and haven’t had the same result, so I think you just need to be careful not to over use this. I find that my skin does look clear and I haven’t had many spots, but I’m not sure it’s soley due to this cleanser. I think this cleanser would be better suited to super oily skin types. Ultimately I won’t be repurchasing as I really dislike the texture and smell, but that’s a personal preference.

  1. Hype bc Kylie Jenner supposedly uses this 😏 I’m on my second bottle of this I don’t mind it. I have only felt the drying effects when I used the cleanser regularly with the glycolic pads. It wasn’t too bad but isn’t that what the glycolic acid is meant to do, exfoliate to reveal fresher skin ? I just slathered more moisturizer on and it was fine for me.

  2. I too bought this because of all the hype around it. Have got very dry skin so not too sure if it’ll work for me but will have to wait and see!
