Hello beauties,
In continuation with my travel series, I wanted to share with you what makeup I take with me on holiday. I get super excited when I plan what makeup I’m taking (what a geek!). My tip would be don’t get carried away, take with you what you would normally wear on a day to day basis.
No7. Beautifully Matte Primer
The main reason I’m taking this primer is it’s the best with the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation. It’s also a great all-rounder as it minimises pores and keeps the oils at bay.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation–Sand Tan
My holy grail foundation and lasts really well in hot weather.
Smashbox BB Cream- Medium-Dark
The best BB cream ever! Provides great coverage and lasts well throughout the day. If I need it to last longer I’ll dust a bit of the Tarte foundation over it to set it in place.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind- Medium
My go to under eye concealer! So much love for this product.
My all-time favourite bronzer!
It’s important to choose a blush that is neutral and can match all looks. For me that blush is Torrid by NARS. Another great thing about NARS Blushes are they last really well on the skin throughout the day.
Can you see a theme here? All long wearing products…..
Essence Highlighter
I’m so obsessed with this highlighter! Completely unnecessary, but yolo!
If I know I’m going to go out a fair bit at night I’ll bring an eyeshadow quad that’s able to create a few different looks. I won’t be taking an eyeshadow quad to Vietnam as I know I won’t use it, I’m attempting to be low maintenance.
Eyeliner is a must. I love this in the waterline or on the top lash line for some added definition.
Essence Bet BIG! Mascara- Waterproof
If you’re going on a beach vacay I highly recommend waterproof mascara. You don’t want to have to worry about your mascara at the beach.
Lipstick
I’ve given myself a limit of 2 lipsticks (both long wearing). I prefer bright colours and at the moment I’ve been loving Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in Vibrant Mandarine and Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Ping Pong.
Is that too much makeup? …..
