Review: Body Oils

Hello dry skin people!

Are you like me? Is your skin dying for some hydration? Look no further, here’s the body oils you should be using to keep your skin looking its best! When the weather gets colder I find body cream isn’t enough to keep my skin hydrated. A few drops of some body oil does the trick.

Jamjahr Citrus Sinensis Body Oil*

I love to use this body oil on its own or mixed in with some body cream. It has a strong citrus smell, so if you don’t like citrus then this isn’t for you. One of the best thing about this body oil is, that it comes with a dropper which makes it super easy to apply.

Jurlique Hydra Control Super Sleek Body Oil

I love the scent of this! It’s a beautiful herbal scent. But it’s not my go-to as it comes in a spray bottle making it super hard to apply once you’ve started spraying and rubbing in the product. I should note, it doesn’t look like Jurlique does it in this packaging.

Aesop Geranium Leaf Hydrating Body Treatment

You all know I’m a big lover of the Aesop Geranium range! However I only purchased this to go with my Aesop Geranium Body Scrub for extra hydration. This is great with the Body Scrub and the Body Lotion but I haven’t really tried it on it’s lonesome. I also find the packaging annoying as I struggle to get enough product out.

Coconut Oil

You can never go past good old fashion coconut oil. The most affordable yet effective body oil. Scoop a little onto your hand, warm it up in your palms then blend into the skin.

With all the body oils I recommend washing your pjs more often as you don’t want to clog your pores. Happy hydrating!

  1. Great article! I love body oils, especially coco oil 😉 the Aesop Geranium treatment is great in the bath mixed with a big glass of milk to help it disperse and soften the skin.
