Hello Beauties!
There has been plenty of hype around the Glam Glow face masks and if you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know I’ve been using this face mask for over a year now. I think it’s fair to say I’ve used it long enough to give it an honest review.
To start off I should tell you I have oily/ combination skin. Over the past year my skin was playing up quite a bit so I was looking for anything to help it. Glam Glow masks are not cheap at $75 for a small tub, but I was desperate. But hear me out before judging my spending.
How to use:
- Remove and cleanse skin; here’s my evening skincare routine
- Apply a thin layer of the mask
- You may feel a slight tingle, I only feel it if my skin is irritated
- Leave on for 15 minutes
- Wash off with warm water (a wet flannel comes in real handy)
- Moisturise!
Overall Thoughts:
As the mask is drying you may notice some areas have darker black spots, this is where the mask is drying and pulling out the impurities. Kinda gross but cool at the same time. When my skin was at its worse I would use this up to 3 times a week, now that my skin is much calmer I use this once every 2 weeks or so. I didn’t notice instant results on myself however over time I really do believe this mask along with some other products helped me reduce my blemishes and healing time. I’ve also tried this on my boyfriend and he loves it! I noticed results on him immediately, his pores were smaller and his skin looked brighter.
While I know this is an expensive investment for me it was worth it. I always have a tub at home (and maybe a few backups). Before making this big purchase I recommend getting a sample first. Glam Glow is available from Mecca Australia however hqhair.com have quite a few promotions on GlamGlow where you get 3 for the price of 2 (did I mention I like to bulk buy?). The mask can also be used as a spot treatment but I prefer Mario Badescu Drying Lotion for that. The small tub lasts me about 6 months and this is the only mask I have ever completely finished and repurchased and finished again! Now that’s saying something.

I don’t know much about GlamGlow, but I was just reading about their single use eye masks on Mecca last night and they were getting rave reviews. This sounds awesome. So expensive though!

So expensive but for me I have amazing results so its worth the investment for me. I haven’t heard much about the eye masks but I think Lonvitale do something similar and much cheaper.

I love face masks but I have dry rather than oily skin, a side effect of growing older! As a result I don’t know that this mask would be the best for me.
Thanks for linking up to the Monday Makeup Madness link up party, I love reading about new products I haven’t used before!

Sounds like a gorgeous product, a bit on the pricey side but as long as you’re seeing results 🙂 Your skin looks great!

Great review! I have been on the fence for a while about getting this product! It is very pricey, so I hated to spend that money and it not be worth it. I think you have convinced me 🙂

I’m a terrible influencer! I would recommend getting a sample first as I’ve heard about a handful of people not getting any results from it and I would hate for you to invest in it and get no return x

Although these are expensive, I’m really beginning to consider buying a tub and giving it a go. If it doesn’t work for me then so be it, but I’ve heard only amazing reviews so it’s beginning to make it want it even more haha! xx

Ask for a sample first. I still go back and get a sneaky sample when I can’t afford a whole tub 😉
