Hello Beauties!
I wanted to show you that wearing eyeshadow pigments is not hard nor should be scary. While I wouldn’t use them every day its good to have a few to glam up your makeup look.
1. Chanel Vita Lumier Aqua 60 and YSL Le Touche Eclat Foundation B70
Typically I prime first with Benefit Porefessional, but since I wasn’t going out after I went straight in with the foundation. I started with 1 pump of Chanel and 1 pump of YSL then mixed together on the back of my hand with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush. I then blended the foundation on the face using circular motions.
2. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer- Medium
I apply a quick swipe under each eye and blend with my ring finger.
To start, I brush through my brows with a spooly. Then using an angled eyeliner brush I dip the brush into the dark shadow and using sweeping motions apply directly to the brows. I follow the normal shape of my brows and then I comb through with the spooly.
Using a big fluffy brush I apply my bronzer in a 3 motion starting from the hollows of my cheeks, then go up to my temples and drag down the brush to my jawline. By using the 3 motion I add colour back into the skin and a healthy glow 😉
5. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush- Magenta
Using a blush brush I apply the brush directly to the apples of my cheeks. I love this colour, adds hint of colour and sheen.
After blush I use the same blush brush to sweep the highlighter onto the high points of my cheeks.
Using any mauve, lilac or matte soft brown apply directly into the crease using windscreen wiper motions which will create your transition colour.
Using a flat shader brush, load up the brush with the pigment, dust off the excess then spray with some MAC Fix + or eye drops. Then pat the pigment on the lid, making sure not to get it in the crease. Allow to dry before going back in with your fluffy brush to blend the edges.
9. MAC Kohl Eyeliner- Smoulder
Any soft kohl black eyeliner will do. I started off by lining my top lash line with the pencil getting as close to the roots as possible. I then went into my waterline and tight lined by placing the pencil in the waterline, closing my eye and gently moving the pencil back and forth to create a smoky effect. I then went back to my flat shader brush and blended in the lower water line. You can also add some more of the matte colour you used as your transition colour. ,
10. Rimmel Scandal’ Eyes Mascara*
Layer your top and bottom lashes with mascara. To amp up the look I added some lashes which is not essential, but hey, go hard or go home! I also added a hint of the highlighter in the inner tear ducts using a pencil brush.
I applied this pinky nude to the lips which added a bit more sheen yet was neutral enough not to distract from the eyes.
Outfit of the Day: Hat from Kookai, Jumpsuit from Dotti, Clutch from Nomadic and Shoes from Rubi Shoes.
