Morning Beauties,
Rise and shine beauties! I’m here to tell you about my morning skincare routine. My aim is to keep my morning skincare routine simple, because who has time for fluffing about? I have oily to combination skin and these are the products that work for me, I can’t guarantee you’ll have the same results.
Such a lovely gentle cleanser that’s no fuss. It’s a creamy/ milky texture that foams a little bit. I apply this directly to my damp face with my hands and work into the skin. After I rinse I find my skin is clean without being tight. However I think this would be more suitable for people with drier skin. I should mention I also love the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (you can’t go wrong with this).
Michael Todd Blue Green Algae Toner
I’ve gone through countless bottles of this, can’t recommend enough! After I dry my face I squirt a few drops onto a cotton round and wipe all over my face.
L’Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum
A very simple serum that hydrates and lightly illuminates the skin (review coming shortly).
I really believe in investing in an eye cream- even if you use one just at night. No one wants crow’s feet! This is a great light weight eye cream that hydrates, depuffs and illuminates under the eyes. I apply this using my ring finger and tap it slightly into the skin. I find this helps my under eye concealer blend in easier.
This moisturiser provides a sheer tint to the skin, note it does not provide coverage just a slight tint that evens out the skin tone. I find this hydrates the skin without making me greasy. Garnier makes a product similar at quarter of the price, worth a look, however I haven’t tried it.
Chapstick- Pawpaw Lip Balm*
Such a great innovation from Chapstick! I love that I can apply my pawpaw without using my fingers 🙂
